About Me
Hi, my Second Life identity is Meyon Voom and I'm from the United States. I'm currently in my junior year at Fort Hays State University. I know it's not Harvard or anything. However it's a great school with great people. I'm afforded a quality education minus all the student loan debt. Can anyone honestly complain?
I've been playing Second Lifefor almost 2 years now. I use to have another screen name, however I started taking some serious courses and just couldn't dedicate the time to manage my in-world business. Reluctantly I sold my land and business. It was much easier for myself and the buyer if I just gave them my screen name. The decision was based on the notion that I would no longer be a resident of Second Life. A few months later, the buyer employed me to create new designs for his newly purchased clothing store that he'd acquired from me. It was during this time that Second Life implemented the voicefeature. This changed everything for me. All the wonderful residents that I had developed a relationship with were now able to hear one another. This changed everything for me.
I'm now back and a permanent resident again. Most of my time is spent with my Second Life partner Kurt Weissenberger dicussing current events about Second Life, politics, World History, movies, and weird news. All while adding or creating new designs for Kafarm.
Skills
- Textures: As you read above, I have an awesome clothing store in-world. I also create my own textures for everything I create.
- Building: I'm by far am not the best builder, but I can hold my own. I have master building prim shoes, commercial buildings, and furniture. This is not my preference at all.
- Photo Shop: Well, you can't make textures without this now can you? I guess you can, but this is what I use. I have mastered versions 7.0 and CS3.
- Hosting: I have been a host for Slingo and Tringo. I haven't done it in quite some time, but I still enjoy the game. Don't play as much, because of the legality issues with it right now.
