I'm not changing the English page to reflect the knowledge from the Japanese version. There are good reasons why all those grids are not explicitly listed ''here'' — after all, none of those grids can ever be visited by residents anyway, and this Second Life Wiki 'mostly' describes useful information to ''residents'' (with some exceptions, probably for historical reasons, where some information is stored which may make far more sense to the Lindens than to us residents...). | |||

- I am sorry to ask user queries here, but the apparently relevant email group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Second_Life gets only a few messages per month and seems to be nearly dead.
Please where is the right place to ask this sort of technical query?
Please where is a list of the names of all the 256 meter x 256 meter regions and their places in the grid of regions (I seem to read that it is called Agni)?
Are the teen Second Life and the adult Second Life both on Agni? That is, to me (an adult member) do the teen regions appear as some of those deep-ocean dead zones that I cannot enter or fly across? (And vice-versa the adult regions for teen members.)
How many regions wide north-south and east-west is the whole of Agni?

- @Teen Grid: The teen grid is on Agni and it is visible on the map as well (at least on the webmap and in Snowglobe). See http://shoppingcartdisco.com/?p=3601
- You might be able to get a list of Regions by using the Map API. I think SignpostMarv Martin might be the best to poke on map questions...
- Otherwise, questions might be best in the forums or - when it's really technical - in the SLDev mailing list.

- http://teen.world.secondlife.com/start/regions.html will give you the list of the region names on the Teen Grid.
- As for their co-ordinates, you'd need to poke LL's map api.

Linden Lab's Other Grids
By sheer coincidence, I was peeking at the code for https://search.secondlife.com and I found that there were some small tracking scripts, targeted to each grid. Agni and Aditi, of course, are well-known; but as of today, you can still see the code for two other grids, Damballah and Mitra.
I was wondering if this Wiki still had information on those grids. It does indeed — but you have to switch over to the Japanese version of this Land page to get the list. Our Japanese residents still keep an extensive database of all grid names ever registered, and you can see how they're fond of naming grids after Hindu gods (possibly with the exception of Damballah — a Hawaiian Voodoo Loa, or deity).
