::: Would be nice to be able to know/see what regions are available on the Beta Grid without logging in and trying to get there first. It's better to have Linden Lab provide the data than it is a 3rd party. :::: IIRC, there are very few regions online in the betagrid, and I'm not sure if anyone would hold events and such on the betagrid since rezzed objects are randomly temporal... While it's useful to have mapapi for the beta grid, it seems only incrementally so. I'd say: implement it if it's easy (but knowing how convoluted LL code is... probably not o.O). Interestingly if there were a mapapi, land speculation on the betagrid might become a (brief) rage! ([[User:Ina Centaur|Ina Centaur]] 02:10, 26 January 2008 (PST)) | |||

Suggested Meeting Agenda Items
- Integrating/Replacing Map.LLSD with TMS
- Not hard-coding server structure or client interface to a specific grid
- LL provision of a map API for Beta Grid(s)
- Why would LL provision be required or necessary here? (Ina Centaur 02:02, 26 January 2008 (PST))
- Would be nice to be able to know/see what regions are available on the Beta Grid without logging in and trying to get there first. It's better to have Linden Lab provide the data than it is a 3rd party. SignpostMarv Martin 02:04, 26 January 2008 (PST)
