The Nonprofit Commons, managed by TechSoup, is a virtual community of practice for nonprofits to explore the opportunities and benefits of Second Life.  We are the largest community of nonprofits in the virtual world, with about 120 member organizations. We host regular meetings, live streamed conferences and workshops, informal mixers and other events.  This is a community for any nonprofit, volunteer or supporter that is interested in learning about Second Life.

The Nonprofit Commons project, managed by TechSoup, is a virtual community of practice for nonprofits to explore the opportunities and benefits of Second Life. You do not have to have an office in the Nonprofit Commons to get involved! This is a community for any nonprofits that are interested in learning about Second Life. You can find out more and start getting involved by the following ways to join our community:
