Windows Icon Test

Goal

Make sure Windows icon set is correct for installer and Second Life applications.

Installer Icons

1. Uninstall all copies of SL from your machine
2. Browse through C:\Program Files to make sure all SecondLife* directories are gone
   1. If you find a C:\Program Files\SecondLife* directory, delete it
3. Download the test installer
4. Put it in a folder
5. Cycle through all icon views (Extra Large, Large, Medium, Small, List, Details, Tiles)
6. Verify the installer icon looks sharp at each view

Application Icons

1. Run the installer
2. Verify the installer window icons are sharp
3. Verify the SL shortcut on the desktop has a hand icon
4. Verify the SL shortcut in the Start menu has a hand icon
5. Browse to C:\Program Files\SecondLife
6. Cycle through all icon views (Extra Large, Large, Medium, Small, List, Details, Tiles)
7. Verify the application icon looks sharp at each view

Window Icons

1. Launch SL
2. Verify the window icon (top left) is sharp and is a hand
3. Quit SL

Uninstaller Icons

1. Go to Control Panels > Add/Remove Programs (on XP) or Uninstall Programs (Vista)
2. Verify the uninstaller has an icon
3. Run the uninstaller
4. Verify the uninstaller window has sharp icons
