Working with producer Goldie Goodman, Silver has been directing and editing machinima in Second Life since May 2006 and has more than 20 years of experience producing video programs for their real world company LTS Productions. Technical Delivery System
Silver Goodman works with a full array of advanced computing systems and broadcast quality video production, editing and finishing equipment. In addition to four computer systems configured for machinima production, the array includes two custom-built computers to capture virtual images in high-definition. These capture systems utilize Extreme graphics and Nvidia 8800 SLI processors. In-world capture is executed using PCs, but editing is completed with Final Cut Pro Studio 3 on a 3GHz Apple Mac Pro. Ample RAID storage is available including a Ciprico Media Vault. Multiple DSL lines allow the facility to control multiple avatars and record in HD from one location. Additional production tools include broadcast quality D9, Betacam SP and HDV record decks and cameras.
