Ex-Employee of 3Dconnexion.
While at 3Dconnexion I wrote the joystick support code for Mac OS X and Windows for avatar and object edit-mode control, extending Linden's code for camera movement (which was Windows only). This was merged into Linden Labs's code base as of v1.20.
