Make sure your user name and password are typed correctly. Your Second Life account's first name (the one you created) should be in the First Name field; the last name (the one you selected from a list) should be in the Last Name field; and your password should be entered in the Password field.
If it still isn't working, use My Account: Forgot Your Name or Password? to recover your password. You'll need to know the answer to the security question you gave when you created your account.
Tip: Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL, and other webmail users should check their Junk/Spam folders. If Junk/Spam Filtering is on, the recovery email will typically be sent there by webmail servers. If filtering is off, in some cases the message may simply be deleted. |
