The "You can get it for free" description is somewhat misleading. Functions like teleporting require an undisclosed fee to unlock. From their Google Play store description:
SecondLife viewer. You can't select place to visit. To visit other locations are required to purchase a paid service in app. Chat IM Online friends list Nearby people list Minimap Teleport in the current map(Paid service) v1.0.0 you can choose where to login. (Paid service).
I am not adverse to charging: but I do prefer that they are upfront about the price and the limitations of the free version.
