- [12:07] Alexa Linden: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Bug_triage/Monday_Agenda
- [12:07] Harleen Gretzky: Hi Nya :)
- [12:07] Alexa Linden: first up today is SVC-32[c
- [12:07] Harleen Gretzky: This was fixed, but seems broken again
- [12:08] Gellan Glenelg: yeah - have had people complaining about this, this week
- [12:08] Gellan Glenelg: someone said it's only if the booted person started the group im - no idea f that's true
- [12:08] Bridie Linden: Let's test :)
- [12:09] Harleen Gretzky: Well the person starting it might not be the same person to everyone, depends when everyone logged in
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: true
- [12:10] Gellan Glenelg: is it related to the new auto-unmute changes?
- [12:10] Harleen Gretzky: WE could test with BSI, I suppose
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:10] Squirrel Wood: shall scare you all by complaining about https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-27 still being an issue :p
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: who wants to be kicked?
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:10] Harleen Gretzky: start a chat first
- [12:11] Harleen Gretzky: then you can kick me
- [12:11] Aric Linden: Let's take this in and pass to QA for repro and update
- [12:11] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:11] Alexa Linden: WEB-510[c
- [12:11] Harleen Gretzky: This probably needs a Linden to say it is a sympton of WEB-87, they do not believe Gigs
- [12:13] Alexa Linden: well I did mark it
- [12:13] Harleen Gretzky: I think they want you to actually say it is a sympton, they just do not seem to believe it is a duplicate
- [12:13] Aric Linden: let's link to web-87 and assign it to workingonit
- [12:13] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:14] Gellan Glenelg: it's already related
- [12:14] Gellan Glenelg: if you mark as dupe, someone will undo it!
- [12:14] Alexa Linden: so I see
- [12:14] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:14] Squirrel Wood: mark as dupe and lock it :p
- [12:14] Harleen Gretzky: Unless you confirm i is a sympton
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: SVC-2513[c
- [12:15] Gellan Glenelg: this sounds familiar
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: I would think this is a dup?
- [12:15] Harleen Gretzky: Similar to Darlings flight assist sisue
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: yes and there was another about 3 weeks ago
- [12:16] Gellan Glenelg: ok - repro has been added since last week
- [12:16] Aric Linden: please import and assign to sidewinder
- [12:16] Squirrel Wood: Ah... repro uses insane value for push.
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: ok :)
- [12:16] Aric Linden: um, I don't think it's critical
- [12:17] Gellan Glenelg: agreed
- [12:17] Squirrel Wood: push afaik was nerfed to fix orbitters
- [12:17] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:17] Squirrel Wood: or rather, render those useless
- [12:17] Alexa Linden: next is SVC-2514[c
- [12:17] Alexa Linden: the big argument I've seen on this
- [12:18] Alexa Linden: had been whether the copybot person Really can get into a closed group
- [12:18] Harleen Gretzky: whether it is true or not
- [12:18] Alexa Linden: or if it just looks that way from their profile
- [12:19] Squirrel Wood: there is no way to stop people from copying as long as assets need to be sent to the client for rendering.
- [12:19] Harleen Gretzky: The snapshot has some groups that the bot is not in, but they are hard to read to see if they are closed, the ones I could read were all open
- [12:19] Gellan Glenelg: and no way to stop the copying of the majority of profile
- [12:20] Harleen Gretzky: Yeah, I think the biggest issue was teh closed groups, not really the rest
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: which we still don't know if this really happened
- [12:21] Bambers Linden: can we find out what was in the ARs?
- [12:21] Aric Linden: I think w/out a repro this is an issue which won't get much attention
- [12:22] Harleen Gretzky: correct, maybe should resolve as NMI until someone posts a repro
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: we can but they don't give us more more info
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: that was to bambers btw
- [12:22] Squirrel Wood: it will be reopened.
- [12:22] Aric Linden: let's request more info
- [12:22] Squirrel Wood: Joshua Nightshade - 09/Jun/08 11:11 PM - edited
- Stop closing this issue. Over ten of us were present in world when this happened. If it gets closed again I'm reopening it unless it's locked by a Linden.
- [12:23] Bambers Linden: was just thinking there may be more info in ARs from 10 people than is in 1 bug reports written by 2 people at a later time
- [12:23] Harleen Gretzky: Can LL tell from logs whether the bot joined closed groups?
- [12:25] Alexa Linden: ok - on to SVC-2585[c
- [12:27] Harleen Gretzky: Your receipt email basically that the AR was entered
- [12:27] Gellan Glenelg: but is there ANY point in sending ARS to estate owner/managers, if there's no info in the AR?
- [12:27] Squirrel Wood: [rt.lindenlab.com #1219804
- [12:27] Gellan Glenelg: or do they just mean the subject line on the "receipt" email?
- [12:27] Harleen Gretzky: I tested this on my sim, my email still has all the information it always had
- [12:27] Squirrel Wood: that's the last confirmation of an AR I sent
- [12:28] Gellan Glenelg: when was that, squirrel?
- [12:28] Squirrel Wood: the 26th
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: interesting
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: thanks squirrel
- [12:28] Squirrel Wood: two days or so ago
- [12:28] Squirrel Wood: or three.. or four
- [12:28] Gellan Glenelg: issue logged yesterday. has it changed since then?
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: not that I would think
- [12:29] Aric Linden: no it hasn't
- [12:29] Harleen Gretzky: Would have probably changed with 1.22.4 if it did
- [12:29] Gellan Glenelg: then what are 69 people voting for??
- [12:29] Gellan Glenelg: 59*
- [12:30] Aric Linden: I'd like to have someone from the g team comment on this
- [12:30] HEN Streeter: hey snake
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: ok Aric
- [12:30] Aric Linden: Alexa, can you ask maurice to step in here?
- [12:30] Snake Dawes: hey hen

- [12:31] Alexa Linden: VWR-4212[c

- [12:35] Alexa Linden: VWR-5962[c
- [12:36] Squirrel Wood: makes sense
- [12:36] Aric Linden: let's make it a feature request and pass to RX
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: good for the Rx team?
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: jinx :P
- [12:36] Gellan Glenelg: hmm. I'm not convinced by the need for this... the only reason to select a single face is to edit the texture?
- [12:36] Aric Linden: giner beer
- [12:36] HEN Streeter: lol
- [12:36] Aric Linden: ginger beer
- [12:36] Squirrel Wood: but you *select* the *face* ^^
- [12:37] Gellan Glenelg: but yeah - let Rx decide using their methods, rather than on the say-so of 3 or 4 people
- [12:37] HEN Streeter: what is rx?
- [12:37] Gellan Glenelg: Resident eXperience
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: Resident Experience
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: woot!
- [12:37] Harleen Gretzky: Only thing you can do is select a single face
- [12:37] HEN Streeter: hmhm
- [12:37] Aric Linden: thinks alexa is on a role today
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: next up we have VWR-7362[c
- [12:37] Gellan Glenelg: again ;P
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:38] HEN Streeter: not usful ? why not use NULL_KEY?
- [12:38] HEN Streeter: isnt same
- [12:38] Gellan Glenelg: if we say yes, will it go away ?? ;P
- [12:38] Gellan Glenelg: no - NULL_KEY uses more byutes
- [12:38] Gellan Glenelg: bytes
- [12:38] Harleen Gretzky: Rob requested more votes, but doesn't look like it is getting any
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: last triaged date again?
- [12:39] Gellan Glenelg: this hasn't changed since last week
- [12:39] Gellan Glenelg: why does it keep appearing on agenda?
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: it needs love
- [12:39] Harleen Gretzky: No LL ID
- [12:39] Harleen Gretzky: has not been imported
- [12:39] Aric Linden: Let's ask babbage what he thinks

- [12:47] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: I'll ask for it
- [12:47] Gellan Glenelg: linking VWR-7938 to VWR-7709 (snapshot meta)
- [12:48] Gellan Glenelg: looks like a dupe tho
- [12:48] Alexa Linden: # VWR-6663[c
- [12:48] Squirrel Wood: anti alias is fsaa. course it blurs everything....
- [12:49] Harleen Gretzky: Doesn't blur for me,and I have pratically the same setup as the OP
- [12:49] Harleen Gretzky: But this was RC2, should probablly see if it is still happening in RC11
- [12:50] Squirrel Wood: I see chat text blurred
