It incorporates a lot of bug fixes, patches, the old UI many still prefer (Nicholaz Viewer) and new features and improvements which will perhaps never make their way into the "official viewer". In addition Cool Viewer supports all the feature's of Marine Kelley's RestrainedLife Viewer, the CV advantage - you can switch it on/off in Preferences without the need to have a second viewer installed. A rock stable viewer, with flexible features for everyone.
