Link failed -- pieces too far apart
I find references to the secondlife forum about this problem. Unfortunatly, alot of people have a free account. Could the forum discussion about this subject be displayed in this article? --Vernes Veranes 18:01, 1 June 2007 (PDT)
Why the very long delay?
A whole second of delay seems excessive here; is there any strong reason for it? I'm making a device that constructs things out of multiple prims, and a one second delay each time it creates a new link, on top of the llRezObject delays to make the prims, makes it pretty glacial. I could delegate the link-making out to an army of subsidiary scripts, of course, but that really complicates things. I'm tempted to open a JIRA to make this delay shorter (0.5 at the very most), unless there's some obvious reason that that would be a bad idea. Thoughts? Dale Innis 20:10, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
