SirMarkus also enjoys meeting people from cultures distant to his, and is not afraid to converse with speakers of languages other than English by using translator programs.  He was given one on a visit to '''Oinari''' (or ''''Neo Inari''''), a Japan-themed SIM made by Japanese, for Japanese speakers, and he is very fascinated by their projects and engineering work.

SirMarkus Kidd

SirMarkus Kidd is a raccoon that was brought into Second Life at the urgings of a friend and found things to do much more quickly than his RL counterpart thought he would.

His friend showed him cars, and he wanted to go out racing, but after practicing for months at a Formula 1 circuit that belonged to Silver Motorsports Club, by the time he had decided he was ready to enter his debut race, the track was shut down and razed on the day the race was to be...

...so instead of practicing for another Formula 1 styled competition, which would have been much more expensive, he decided to be like Montoya and took up stock car racing at Silver Motorsports Complex, keeping much of the same friends he made. In recent days, he has become a bit busy for the stock cars, and has taken up racing the go karts (which run on Wednesdays) instead.

He also likes watching music performances and visiting dance clubs.

SirMarkus enjoyed playing in the financial markets of SL and had several bank accounts, but as he became busy with other RL things, mostly during the holidays of 2007, many events led to the banning of banks and so a majority of his investments were removed. While he believes there was an educational value in the financial sector, as well as a certain opportunity that could be granted if the markets were created in a more sane and regulated way, it is difficult to create a virtual stock market properly without seriously violating the rules and spirit of Second Life.

SirMarkus enjoys meeting people from cultures distant to his, and is not afraid to converse with speakers of languages other than English by using translator programs. He was given one on a visit to Oinari (or 'Neo Inari'), a Japan-themed SIM made by Japanese, for Japanese speakers, and he is very fascinated by their projects and engineering work.

About chunter, SirMarkus' player

More information about chunter can be found through his blog at http://www.xanga.com/chunter where he writes on a roughly monthly basis about whatever is on his mind. On the right side of the page in particular are embedded applets regarding his music creations and other interests.

chunter was a student at Berklee College of Music and has some "non-serious" musical projects worked on at a deliberately slow pace. He was also the bass player in the band Dollarwead.

He also has extensive experience with the GNU/Linux operating system, often choosing it as the OS in computers he restores, using it almost exclusively.
