Introduction
WARNING: This is an archive of previous viewer versions released by Linden Labs. Most mandatory viewer updates contain important security and crash fixes as well as new features that aren't supported by older viewers. Use at your own risk.
Setting the channel version
Unless the viewer is still supported, to connect to the main grid you need to change the viewer's channel setting. For a guide to setting the viewer channel, see Get_source_and_compile#Channels_and_Versions.
(NOTE: Some versions are now too old to connect period)
