1) Land Management Prokofy Neva asks Robin to comment on the confiscation of the Woodbury Sim, and if it was a violation of academic freedom (as Clift claims). Robin responded that it wasn’t an issue of academic freedom (as characterized by the blogs), and that there was a great deal of discussion w/Professor Clift. Island owners need to be willing to manage activities on their island. If an owner is unwilling or unable to manage the activities on his island, and it begins to impact the broader community, then said island owner needs to take some responsibility for the outcome. Land bots need reigning in.

2) Search Filters LL has implemented some keyword searches in an effort to keep activities that are of questionable legality from being promoted in public channels. Searches are done by hand and are carefully reviewed. Inappropriate items are taken down. For example, if we do a search on Lolita and it turns up Nabokovs's novel, the only thing LL will be concerned with is whether there's a copyright violation.

3) General discussion regarding rules of SLCC. SLCC is free to set whatever rules they want to. Some frustration about when LL gets involved in enforcement because some residents feel that it is haphazard.

4) Abuse management System LL is working to make it more transparent, and how to do that without violating privacy. Some like the idea, some do not “naming and shaming is not a good path to tread”. Residents would like more info about what actions lead to sanctions, and have it be very clear (do x and you’re banned for 7 days; do y and you’re banned forever).

5) Age Verification General discussion about age verification, and under age avatars engaging in sex. If child av is engaged in sexual behavior then LL would investigate. The people who are liable are the people behind the avs engaging in that sexual behavior, regardless of their RL age. AV will be done by matching information provided by residents with public records. If you’re under 18 you shouldn’t be on the main grid.

6) AR Response Times Sometimes responses are VERY slow (two days) or follow through doesn’t happen. The AR team is being beefed up to provide 24/7 service.
