Who Am I ?

Hello, my name is John Mieske in Real Life, however I am also known as Sonya in RL as well. hahaha.. I have been working with SL for over 5 years. Yes I have made MANY mistakes and gained as well as lost friends in SL. But I have learned the value of what is here and now I am one of the official Teachers in Second Life. You curious as to my knowledge of life ? My pic below says it all... lol

Second Life History

Sonya Penucca is number 6 out of 11 Avatars. The first 4 have been deleted. Sonya was created with the view in mind that she would be JUST be a builder. But a friend told her that she could be in a picture contest, but to try it as a child avatar. Well she was made as a child and has stayed that way ever since. People respond to her better. Of course you get your idiots in there that only want to cause her harm in one way or another, but for the most part she is very enjoyable to work with when interacting with the other Residents.

She is used on various projects for building and scripting all over SL. She is well known by a small handful of friends in RL.

She was a teacher and Mentor in the PSG Academy and taught LSL ( Linden Scripting Language ) and building classes.

She has recently made her 58th Build - The golden Gate Bridge. Its a 968 Prim bridge setup in a park. She has made scripts that she uses in her classes such as cuss jars ( since she is a kid Avatar and can get away with people paying her for cussing around her. haha ) and an Evil titler which is all over SL. Yes you can blame her for teaching others how to do it. Haha.

A Note about Second Life clients and 3rd Party Viewers

I use the Release version of Snowglobe. ( Currently Version 1.3.2 ) https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Snowglobe

I do not use 1.4 or 2.x. I also HATE the Viewer Beta 2 and refuse to use it. IF LL decides to force people to switch to that client, I WILL without a doubt leave SecondLife.

(NOTE : My opinion about the Beta 2 : The only exception to my ever using the Veiwer 2 is if they fix it and quit taking the other options from the older clients out of it ! Its way to Laggy for my tastes. SL is laggy enough, but to have a client that adds to it too? Uhmm.. no thank you.)

I also will not use Emerald of any version do to its ability to hack other clients and crash sims. Its also used to snoop on other residents.

For those who say that Emerald is a LL Supported client, read again. Its allowed.. but LL does NOT support it. Here is the official Link to the LL website :

At the top, it states and I quote: "We at Linden Lab offer the official Second Life viewer and the Snowglobe viewer for connecting to Second Life."

It does not say that the Emerald Viewer is FROM LL as some of you have thought. Its only Allowed.. For now.
