What's happening with the Second Life Knowledge Base?

It's moving to the new Second Life Community platform, integrating forums, blogs, SL Answers, and the Knowledge Base.

Why are you moving the Knowledge Base?

Having the Knowledge Base on the same platform as forums and answers will make it easier to promote useful information to official KB articles and for Residents to give feedback and "kudos" for information they find useful. The system provides mechanisms for users to easily promote information from forums and Answers to the Knowledge Base.

Will the community still be able to contribute?

Yes! The Community platform has a robust system of ranks and roles. The more you participate, the higher rank you can achieve and the more you can do.
