Met a Stranger

What if you could be a character in your favorite comic?
Well, Met a Stranger tries to imitate that experience. It's the story of a woman with a mysterious history, a strange problem, a loud mouth and the most bizarre super-power yet. But the characters are actually other individuals who play their own parts. The series started on the blog M is for Myg, and as more readers began to comment on story lines they were invited to participate. Some have actually written their own posts. It goes beyond traditional role play, though, in that the focus of the project is the written story. Season 1 ran for 32 episodes over about 6 weeks.
For inclusion in the Second Life 4th Birthday celebration (SL4B Portal), Season 1 was translated to Thincbooks that can be read inside of Second Life. So while you can't yet log into your favorite comic, you can at least rez and read Met a Stranger while logged into your favorite game. The plan is to release all of Season 1 in this way. Season 2 is scheduled to begin appearing on mygdala.com in late June and will pick up the story where Season 1 left off.
