Le 23 Juin 2009, Second Life a 6 ans. Hey ! C'est votre deuxième moitié de décennie ! Vous êtes maintenant *tellement* plus sophistiqué qu'à 5 ans , mais toujours en train de rôder autour du four, avide de dévorer le gateau et vous demandant ce que le fait d'avoir 6 ans vous réserve. Ou, à ce propos, qu'en est-il de 7 ans, 10 ans, 15 ans ? D'ailleurs, où s'envolent les années ?

Comme vous n'êtes jamais satisfait des choses telles qu'elles sont, l'événement de cette année est un défi aux résidents : montrez-nous comment vous comptez faire les choses dans 5, 10 ou 100 ans. Le thème de l'Anniversaire cette année est "Le futur des Mondes Virtuels" et nous parions que vous avez de splendides visions à partager concernant le futur que vous construisez ici. Comment fonctionneront les Mondes virtuels ? À quoi ressembleront-ils ? Comment feront-ils partie de la vie quotidienne ? Comment apprendrons-nous, nous socialiserons-nous et évoluerons-nous à l'intérieur de ceux-ci ? Comment affecteront-ils vos croyances et comment seront-ils affectés par vos actions ?

Une fois encore, Liden Lab a mis en place 20 régions pour la célébration de l'Anniversaire et les résidents sont en train de construire leur vision personnelle du futur pour la partager avec vous. L'infrastructure de l'événement est quasiment terminée et elle est magnifique. C'est un petit peu sombre et un petit peu brillant. En partie splendide, en partie en ruine. C'est décidément en trois dimensions ! Pensez avec la lumière. Pensez au concept. Regardez au-dessus. Regardez en-dessous. Regardez et écoutez attentivement.

Les inscriptions pour construire et exposer sont maintenant closes. Nous allons examiner ensuite toutes les expositions soumises et espérons prévenir les exposants acceptés d'ici le 1er Juin. Les exposants auront entre 2 et 3 semaines sur le site pour construire. L'événement ouvrira le 23 Juin et durera officiellement une semaine (bien que nous gardions les portes ouvertes pour une semaine supplémentaire pour que plein de gens puisse venir visiter).

Event Policies

Maturity Rating

In order to ensure a comfortable experience for every Resident, the whole of the event will be accessible to general audiences. The Second Life 6th Birthday Celebration takes place on the main Second Life Grid and is for Adults 18 years and older. The following guidelines are in effect, and are the same PG guidelines we followed last year:

"PG Areas are designated to be free from sexually explicit language or behavior, swearing and other forms of aggressive language, violent behavior and/or imagery, including horror. Gambling for Linden Dollars is also prohibited." This is taken from the Knowledgebase Article found here.

Linden Lab and the Resident Organizers reserve the right to determine when an edge case is no longer appropriate.

Exhibitors may provide landmarks to Mature regions, provided they are properly marked as Mature.

Exhibit Policies

No megaprims are allowed at Linden-Sponsored Events.
No sales - freebies are okay as are landmarks to external areas.
No hate-oriented material.
No copyright or trademark infringement (includes real life or virtual name brands, logos, sounds or graphics that aren't owned by exhibitor.)
Prim limits are according to plot size requested and will be enforced.
1 Exhibit per resident/group
Landmarks, Web content or Links provided must be relevant to the exhibit or exhibitor.
We expect every exhibitor and attendee to adhere to the standard Second Life Terms of Service.
