This article explains the Market Summary page.

  • USD Balance: This will displays details about the availability of your USD funds. Remember that funds are put in a "holding" area when you place a Buy order to ensure that you have the funds to purchase L$ if your Buy order is filled.
  • SLL Balance: This will displays details about the availability of your Linden Dollar (L$) funds. Remember that L$ are put in a "holding" area when you place a Sell order to ensure that you have the L$ on hand if someone purchases them.
  • Current Rate: This is the current rate format you're viewing. There are two rate formats:
  • ** USD/SLL displays rates as X SLL per 1 USD
    • 1000SLL/USD displays rates as X USD per 1000 SLL You can change the format by clicking the Toggle Rate Format link.
  • Bid/Ask: This shows the best Buy and Sell quotes, respectively. If you enter a market or "best price" order, it will initially be filled at the applicable rate listed here.
  • Daily High: The highest trade for the day.
  • Daily Low: The lowest trade for the day.
  • The Market Summary page also displays a chart that shows the trading history for the past 24 hours, which can be very helpful for serious traders and fun to look at for the rest of us.
  • For your convenience, your current Open Orders (if you have any) and your last 10 transactions are also displayed on this page. Click the More link to view your complete transaction history.
