Bunny Jam 2011: Contests, hunts, and music
We’re celebrating spring in Second Life with our annual Bunny Jam event, kicking off April 11. With an egg decorating contest, egg scavenger hunt, and an all-day music festival, Bunny Jam is an event you won’t want to miss.

- Egg scavenger hunt: April 21-25

Contest Rules
Bunny Egg Decorating Contest Rules
- Contest starts at 9:00 a.m. PST on Monday, April 11 and ends at 12:00pm PST (noon) on Friday, April 15, 2011.
- You must use the 1-prim template egg found in Shopkeeper Linden’s store on Marketplace. Note: It does not cost money to buy the template or to register for the Marketplace.
- Be sure to name your egg object your Second Life avatar name (aka your username). If you have created it as part of a group, include a notecard with the avatar names of your contributors.
- Submit your egg to Libby Linden via her profile. To find Libby, go to Search inworld, select the People tab, and type "Libby Linden" in at the prompt. Drag and drop your egg object onto her profile to submit it.
- Judging will occur between April 15 and April 19, 2011 and will be performed by an impartial panel of Linden bunny egg enthusiasts.
- Top 12 selections will be entered into our Egg Scavanger Hunt and showcased inworld on BunnyTail and BunnyPaws.
- The top 12 winners earn L$5,000 for each winning egg.
- Winners will be notified via inworld chat no later than Tuesday, April 19, 2011. The winning designs will be on display inworld and copies will be used in the Bunny Jam scavenger hunt.
- Eggs entered into the contest must be Full Perms (please be sure your egg is sent YES modify, YES copy, YES transfer). Submitted eggs without Full Perms will be disqualified.
- No Scripts.
- Egg must be fully linked for submission.
- Maturity rating of submitted eggs must be General. Moderate and Adult eggs will be disqualified. Please see our Community Standards for more details.
- Please do not place any gifts, freebies, or landmarks inside the eggs.
- No notecards allowed, except for team egg entries.
- No advertising.
Bunny Egg Decorating Contest Community Voting Rules
- Community voting on the best egg out of the 12 chosen by the Linden Lab community team begins on April 20, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. SLT. and ends at 4:00 p.m. SLT.
- Community participants may only vote once.
- Only one egg can win the L$10,000. The egg with the most votes via our survey wins the grand prize of L$10,000. If there is a tie, Linden Lab will select the final winner.
- The winner will be notified on April 21 via inworld chat. The L$ will be deposited into the winner’s Second Life account by May 1, 2011.
Bunny Egg Scavenger Hunt Contest Rules
- Contest starts at 9:00 a.m. SLT on Thursday, April 21, 2011 and ends on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) SLT.
- The 12 winning eggs from the Egg Decorating Contest will be used in the hunt.
- Prizes will be distributed on found eggs only.
- Those who find the winning eggs will win L$5,000 for each found egg.
- Eggs will be scattered and hidden on the regions listed in the Bunny Jam Destination Guide. Eggs can only be found once.
- In order to claim their prize, hunters who find the winning eggs must submit the egg to Libby Linden via her profile. To find Libby, go to Search inworld, select the People tab, and type "Libby * Linden" in at the prompt. Drag and drop your egg object onto her profile to submit it.
- Eggs must be submitted to Libby Linden by April 25, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. SLT to qualify.
- Limit one prize per person (if you find multiple prize eggs, you will only get one prize).

- Eligibility. Contest is open to all Second Life® Residents ("Residents") in good standing, 16 and older as of the start of the Contest. Residents of embargoed countries, countries where such contests are not legal or where access to the Second Life world has been blocked or disabled, as well as Employees and affiliates of Linden Research, Inc. ("Linden Lab"), and their families are not eligible to participate. Contest void where prohibited. Subject to all international, federal, state and local laws. No purchase is necessary to enter and win.
- How to Enter. Between the hours of 9:00 a.m. PST on Monday, April 11 until 12:00pm PST (noon) Friday, April 15, design and submit a Bunny Egg using the template egg found here: <insert link to Shopkeeper Linden’s store item>
- Prizes. Total Linden Dollars (L$) awarded as prizes: L$60000, to be awarded to twelve (12) Residents as (12) awards in the amount of L$5000. Another Linden Dollars (L$) prize of L$10000 to be awarded to one (1) Resident chosen by community vote for the best of the 12 selected by Linden Lab. There is no promise or guarantee of redemption of any or all L$ awarded. Note: You will need an active Marketplace account to get the template for the contest. - Prize distribution: Gifts will be awarded by Linden Lab via email, inworld or by mail. Linden Lab will notify winners by mail, in-world or e-mail of procedures for redeeming prize. The prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit. Winners who do not wish to accept the prize as offered may opt to forfeit the prize. There will be no substitutions.
- All applicable federal, state, and local tax laws apply, and winners are responsible for paying their own taxes. For winners who are legal residents of the United States, the Internal Revenue Service ("IRS") requires Form 1099-MISC to be issued and filed with the IRS for each recipient of a prize who is a resident of the United States if the value of that prize is at least $600. Reporting and payment of any applicable federal, state, and local taxes is the sole responsibility of prize winner.
- By submitting an entry, entrant grants Linden Lab a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use his/her name, avatar, voice, and likeness, and any materials submitted by entrant to Linden Lab, in connection with this Sweepstakes, and entrants waive any and all claims and/or rights to receive any royalties or other compensation for the Linden Lab's use thereof, unless prohibited by law. Winners may be required to complete, sign, notarize and return an affidavit of eligibility/liability release and a publicity release, which must be returned, properly executed, within five (5) days of issuance of prize notification.
- All prizes are subject to the Second Life Terms of Service and Second Life Community Standards. Any violation of the Second Life Terms of Service or Second Life Community may result in the forfeiture of the prize, at any time.
