Revision as of 11:08, 6 May 2011 by Tonya Souther (talk | contribs)
Current and Open Items:
- Any updates on SVC-6760, [SVC-6917] and [VWR-25426] I can't do anything on viewer 2 still :( --Kadah Coba 17:33, 5 May 2011 (PDT)
- Any updates on getting detailed stats? --Kadah Coba 14:44, 3 May 2011 (PDT)
- Looking for documentation of crashlog / minidump processing, such as example server code, build tool integration, documentation of process, etc. --(Arrehn Oberlander)
- [VWR-25479] (Avatar physics causing rendering incompatibilities with V1 clients) is marked as awaiting review. Any new news on this item, besides Oz's patch? --(Arrehn Oberlander) ...and [SVC-6943], too. -- Tonya Souther 12:08, 6 May 2011 (PDT)
- Open Question: We've been getting reports of increased circuit drops/timeouts, and I've noticed a few myself, particularly after teleports. How would these show up on the crash statistics? What tools do we have to measure their severity and impact? --(Arrehn Oberlander)
Previous agenda:
- provide a list of package files in http://s3.amazonaws.com/viewer-source-downloads/install_pkgs and other related download locations so we may be able to updat the packages we use with the viewer more easily
- Third_Party_Viewer_Directory order seems to be inconsistent some weeks. Are you determining "highest version number" from alphabetic order of the viewers' channels? Kadah Coba 19:39, 11 April 2011 (PDT)
- Info on XMPP, from Oskar's simulator UG he mentioned XMPP is dead (or will be soon)... so want more info/clarification
- I think he said that XMPP was found to be unable to scale to all the edge cases, but didn't have any details. What's next, IRC? IRC would be nice. Can we have IRC? --Kadah Coba 11:20, 22 April 2011 (PDT)
- Digital signing: Viewer2 only has the installer signed for widows (at least on the release that I checked, 2.6.1.225680), does LL get many reports of issues with anti virus ware that might be caused by this? We're signing both the installer and the viewer executable. Would there be a reason for me not to sign the slplugin and slvoice as well? --Kadah Coba 11:20, 22 April 2011 (PDT)
- Detailed stats with hardware info, status on getting them? --Kadah Coba 11:20, 22 April 2011 (PDT)
- [VWR-25426] seems to be occurring more frequently in the busy sims. I have no updates, just want Oz to be aware of the issue as well. --Kadah Coba 11:20, 22 April 2011 (PDT)
- (If Monty is in attendance, this is more towards him) On some region crossing, attachments are observed in the console being detached then getting reattached especially with HUDs which would seemed to cause a crash on Phoenix if the HUD had hovertext. Some prims from some attachments will disappear on these crossing, usually happens to my hair as its has a lot of prims and the effect is quite obvious on it. Sorry, don't have logs of this handy atm, but will start collect them plus region info and file an appropriate jira. --Kadah Coba 11:20, 22 April 2011 (PDT)
