Template:LSL Function/inventory/de
Hey I saw you ported Template:LSL Function/inventory/de, but I noticed you used the Template:AAn which is an English auto grammar template. I don't know if German has the same A/An grammar quirk. -- Strife (talk|contribs) 04:35, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, you're right. It was the last thing I did before going to bed and then I forgot about it again. We don't have the exact same quirk but a similar problem. Depending on the "gender" of the noun, we'd use "ein" or "eine". Sound (Geräusch) is male and requires "ein Geräusch" (or "no sound" would be "kein Geräusch") while Texture (Textur) is female and requires "eine Textur" (or "no texture" would be "keine Textur"). I'm not yet able to see an easy work-around since there is no way to detect the "gender" of a noun via the string functions. So I think I'll just write "ein(e)" and "kein(e)" instead of adding additional parameters to the template or having a lookup again. Thx for reminding!

Deutsche in SL
Hi Zai, I'm about to update this article Deutsche in SL - Wo sind denn die Deutschen. Now I am wondering if it should be called "Deutsche Sprache in SL - Wo sind denn die Deutschen, Oesterreicher und Schweizer?" and if so I really will need some help with routing this article or however this is done ;)
BTW, thank you for removing the drama hehe --Torben Trautman 16:24, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
