The concept of first land has been removed from second life.

The First Land program made land available to first time land owners at a reduced price. Those who had never owned land previously, or donated tier to a group, could purchase a 512 square meter parcel of land for L$512. The land could then be used by the resident or resold. The First Land program was terminated sometime during the first half of 2007.
