The LSL Functions Standard

I saw your 12 September 2007 contribution to Separate Words, thank you.

Where is the "LSL functions standard"?

Will do, thank you.

When I wrote the LSL Editing Primer, I didn't mean it to be used as an authoritative document. It was to help people get started on understanding the existing templates. There hasn't been a real discussion of Library Function styles. I'm not standing in the way of this adaptation, just we may want to retool the style a little for this use. -- Strife Onizuka 22:01, 18 September 2007 (PDT)

LSLEditorBugs

Interesting! Thanks for blogging those bugs.

Separate_Words

I see you ask ...

Q:

"I hope you ... enjoyed my reformatting of your" Separate_Words "article" at User_talk:Ppaatt_Lynagh.

A:

Yes, exactly, very much, thank you!!

I hope you feel encouraged to keep giving such gifts out to newborns like me. Just to prove how real my thanks are, I'll mention, these voluminous wiki change logs do testify that some hours before I saw your question, I already did blog my thanks nearby, buried over in the User:Ppaatt_Lynagh article. I quote:

"""

Thanks to you and everyone else here for encouraging this nascent institution of the LSL wiki.

Thanks to Huney Jewell for fitting my first LSL Example, specifically the Separate Words example, to the LSL_Editing_Primer style.

Thanks to Strife Onizuka for verbalising the Separate Words precondition that no spacer exist among the separators.

"""

your edits to User:SignpostMarv Martin/LSL/SL NTPoHTTP v1.1 client

  1. You shouldn't have moved the article.
  2. The script is called SLNTPoHTTP for a reason, you shouldn't have changed it.

It's your contribution, so it's up to you where you prefer having it stored. But IMHO it's really weird, to find it listed as "User:SignpostMarv Martin/LSL/SL NTPoHTTP v1.1 client" in the category index. Sorry, but I really can't imagine that anybody will lookup for an "NTP over HTTP" routine under this search word. Moreover, this forms by far the most lengthy entry in the index. And I assume, nobody might be surprised, to find a SL NTPoHTTP routine in the SL wiki, so it's not really important to emphasize this fact.
