Uploading a Mesh:

  • Bring up the inventory menu (Me -> My Things)
  • On the inventory menu, bring up the model upload floating menu (File -> Upload -> Model)
  • On the first text box (High LOD model), select Browse and browse to where you have a collada .dae model saved on file and select it.
  • NOTE: The viewer may hang for a few moments at this point as the .dae file is parsed and LODs are generated.
  • You can rotate and zoom around your model on the preview screen by clicking on the preview of the model and moving your mouse.
  • For the lower LODs, you can either choose lower polygon versions from your own files, or hit the "Generate LOD" button for a quick solution.
  • Under description, type what you would like to name your newly created mesh.
  • Hit upload.
  • Your new mesh should now be highlighted in your inventory menu.
  • Now leave the inventory window open and move it to the side for the next part.
