[OVERVIEW] This test has been designed to the basic functionality of the SnapShot feature, which allows you to take screenshots and more.

[SETUP]

[*]

[ SNAPSHOT TO SL ]

[0010] Click the "snapshot" button at the bottom of the screen.

[0020] Verify the snapshot preview window pops up within 2 seconds and appears correct.

[0030] Note your balance, then click the "Save as Texture" button.

[0040] Verify you were charged L$10

[0050] Verify the uploaded snapshot appears satisfactory.

[0060] Take snapshot by pressing Ctrl-Shift-S. Repeat steps 0020-0050.

[0070] Take snapshot by File menu > Take Snapshot. Repeat steps 0020-0050.

[ EMAIL POSTCARD ]

[0080] Click the "snapshot" button at the bottom of the screen.

[0090] Verify the snapshot preview window pops up within 2 seconds and appears correct.

[0100] Click the "Send a postcard" radio button.

[0105] Click 2update snapshot" and press the 'Send' button

[0110] Type in your e-mail address (an external email such as hotmail or yahoo mail if you have it) as the recipient.

[0120] Verify the "Your Email" and a "Your Name" fields are correct. Change them to the email and name of the CEO of your favorite OS company (should we be able to do this?)

[0130] Type a relevant Subject and Message.

[0140] Note your balance, then click the "Send" button. Verify your balance is the same. (postcards are free!)

[0150] Check your e-mail and verify the image, message, and the to and from addresses appear correct.

[0160] Send another postcard. Specify three email addresses for the postcard, seperated by commas, two of which are legit and one of which is not.

[0170] Verify the two legit addresses get the postcards.

[ SNAPSHOT TO DISK ]

[0180] Click the "snapshot" button at the bottom of the screen.

[0170] Note your balance, then click the "Save Snapshot to Hard drive" radio button.

[0180] Click the update snapshot button.

[0200] Save the snapshot to your computer.

[0210] Verify your balance has not changed.

[0220] Open the snapshot with an image viewer and verify it looks sharp and correct.

[ DISCARD SNAPSHOT ]

[0230] Click the "snapshot" button at the bottom of the screen.

[0240] Note your balance, then click the "Discard" button. This will close the snapshot preview.

[0250] Verify your balance has not changed.

[0260] Click the "snapshot" button. Move the Snapshot Preview window and note its location.

[0270] Relog and take a new snapshot. Verify that the Snapshot Preview window re-appears where you left it.

[ UI IN NEXT SNAPSHOT ]

[0280] Click the "snapshot" button at the bottom of the screen.

[0290] Note your balance.

[0300] Check the "Show interface in snapshot" box, and click the update snapshot button again.

[0310] Verify you see the UI (minimap, menu, etc) on the screen.

[0320] Uncheck the "Show interface in snapshot" box, and click the update snapshot button again.

[0330] Verify you see no UI on your screen. Click the Discard button.

[0340] Verify your balance has not changed.

[ CTRL and ` KEY BYPASSES PREVIEW ]

[0350] Relog.

[0360] Note your balance.

[0370] Press the Ctrl and backtick (`) key. You will be prompted to save the snapshot to disk.

[0380] Press the Ctrl and backtick (`) key a couple more times. Verify that you take snapshots without seeing a Snapshot Preview window.

[0390] Verify your balance has not changed.

[0400] Open the snapshots with an image viewer and verify they look sharp and correct.
