Grizzy Griswold is a Second Life resident that was born on August 9, 2006. She currently runs a nightclub known as Grizzy's Cafe. It has a retro atmosphere that is particularly marked by its posters featuring entertainers, TV series, and movies from the 50's, 60's, and 70's. The club also streams pop and rock music from this era. Besides running her club, Grizzy also has a passion for religion in sl. She volunteers at Campivallensis Catholic Meditation Center hosting a weekly Bible discussion. She also occasionally volunteers her time with other Christian organizations in sl such as Jesus House. She is also a member of Muslim resident, Drown Pharoah's Second Faith consultants which is a group that catalogs faith-based sites in sl and guides residents to whatever site would best minister to them in world. Grizzy is known for her sense of humor, ability to make friends easily and get along with most residents. However she can at times be a controversial figure. Quick tempered and quick to speak up when she sees something going on in world that she perceives as wrong, she can occasionally clash with other residents on issues she finds important. Grizzy also created controversy early in her Second Life when she revealed that her real world counterpart is a straight male.
