- [12:06] Soft Linden: I know we're conslting with a zomg expensive database specialist. Rumor was he threw up on himself and curled up in a corner for his first hour after seeing the insane load.

- [12:13] Squirrel Wood: unable to serialize all the scripts and other stuff on your avatar in a timely fashion.

- [12:13] Soft Linden: This will likely be helped considerably by LLNet.

- [12:26] Soft Linden: Yeah, but if it gets imported with a low priorty, it probably sits for a year and a half. There are literally thousands of issues at normal and high priority that would be seen first.

- [12:36] Dessie Linden: no votes, and since it's not a severe issue, I'd say move on

- [12:38] Squirrel Wood: I can repro camera "freezes" when not moving the camera for a long time in a busy place, then suddenly alt-caming somewhere.

- [12:39] Squirrel Wood: I'd think of it as a cache issue. stuff you don't see for some time is stripped from the cache and then, when suddenly needed is not "available" right away

- The formula is currently "temp_prim_limit = 0.5 * regular_prim_limit + 20", or 500 temp-on-rez prims, whichever is smaller."
- [12:45] Gordon Wendt: so it effects not only how long before the server cleans up temp on rez objects but also how long before the client sees the cleanup
- [12:45] Soft Linden: Specific steps for what they're doing would be great. Are they moving existing objects on, or doing the initial rez there? Does it happen every time?

- [12:53] Gordon Wendt: I'm sure you Lindens can confirm that the viewer is essentially tangled spaghetti code at this point after so many changes and updates with patching and removing and adding every time
- [12:53] Soft Linden: Looks to me like her viewer changes for http inventory loading got in ahead of the server changes. It shouldn't log spam so much.
