6º cumpleaños de Second Life

El 23 de junio de 2009, Second Life cumplirá 6 años. ¡Bien, entra en la segunda mitad de su primera década! Aunque ahora es usted mucho más experto que en el quinto cumpleaños, aun está revoloteando cerca del horno, ansioso por devorar el pastel, y preguntándose qué tiene le deparará a usted este 6º aniversario. Sea lo que sea, ?qué ocurrirá en el 7º? ¿Y en el 10º, o en el 15º? En todo caso, ¿a dónde van los años?

Ya que usted nos e conforma con que las cosas sean como son, el evcento de este año es todo un reto para los Residentes: esperamos que nos muestre cómo se harán las cosas de aquí 5, 10 o 100 años. El tema de este cumpleaños es El futuro de los Mundos Virtuales, y apostamos que tiene usted bastantes e impresionantes ideas acerca del futuro que usted ya está construyendo aquí. ¿Cómo funcionarán los Mundos Virtuales? ¿Qué apariencia tendrán? ¿Cómo formarán parte de la vida cotidiana? ¿Cómo aprenderemos, nos socializaremos y evolicuionaremos en ellos¿ Cömo afectarán a nuestras creencias, y cómo se verán afectados por sus acciones?

Una vez más, Linden Lab destina 20 regiones para la celebración del cumpleaños, y los Residentes están construyendo su visión particular del futuro para compartirla con todos. La infraestructura del evento ya está casi acabada, y tiene una pinta espléndida. En parte oscura y en parte brillante. En parte esplendorosa y en parte "arruinada". Eso sí, decididamente tridimensional. Piense con claridad. Piense en el concepto. Mire arriba. Mire por debajo. Mire y escuche de cerca.

Las solicitudes para construir se han cerrado ya. Las revisaremos todas, y esperamos anunciar las aceptadas el 1 de junio. Los expositores tendrán 2 o 3 semanas para hacer su construcción. El evento se abrirá el 23 de junio y, oficialmente, durará una semana (aunque se mantdnrá abierto más de ese tiempo, para que sea mucha la gente que pueda visitarlo).

Normas del evento

Calificación

Para que nadie se sienta incómodo, la totalidad del evento será accesible al público en general. la Celebración del 6º Cumpleaños de Second Life tendrá lugar en la red madre de Second Life ("main Second Life Grid"), por lo que es para adultos de 18 o más años. Las siguientes directrices 'PG' son las mismas que seguimos el año pasado:

"PG Areas are designated to be free from sexually explicit language or behavior, swearing and other forms of aggressive language, violent behavior and/or imagery, including horror. Gambling for Linden Dollars is also prohibited." This is taken from the Knowledgebase Article found here.

Linden Lab and the Resident Organizers reserve the right to determine when an edge case is no longer appropriate.

Exhibitors may provide landmarks to Mature regions, provided they are properly marked as Mature.

Exhibit Policies

 * No megaprims are allowed at Linden-Sponsored Events.
 * No sales - freebies are okay as are landmarks to external areas.
 * No hate-oriented material.
 * No copyright or trademark infringement (includes real life or virtual name brands, logos, sounds or graphics that aren't owned by exhibitor.)
 * Prim limits are according to plot size requested and will be enforced.
 * 1 Exhibit per resident/group
 * Landmarks, Web content or Links provided must be relevant to the exhibit or exhibitor.
 * We expect every exhibitor and attendee to adhere to the standard Second Life Terms of Service.
