Got the invitation to become a mentor
Shouldn't I be glad. Today I got my invitation to become a volunteer and to finally reach the status of mentor.
On more hurdle, attending one of the volunteer classes, and I can assist everybody to full extend.
In the last 3 months I set up my own island, called Avatarum. Together with my partner Art Canning and Indira Bekkers we managed to deliver a complete entertainmant package: games, art and clothing. We have a daily traffic of 60 avatars as I type in this contribution to my talk.
I hope this will give you confidence in my capabilities as a mentor. Not only technically but also commercially. --Gal Canning 01:15, 12 November 2007 (PST)
I would love to become a mentor or a teacher.
In SL I'm Gal Canning. In RL as well as in SL I'm a man of about 48 years old. I'm a technician, a teacher, a manager and can be characterized as a fixer.
Sharing knowledge and interact with people, that is what makes a human being a better person. So here I am, ready to share and interact.
Although I'm rather fresh in Second Life (march 2007) I already could translate my RL designing and programming experience to SL en LSL.
(a proof of the pudding...look at Virtual Holland)
You can always send me an IM if you have a SL related problem or want to share something. You can also visit my blog to get to know me...michel.artagainstwater.nl --Gal Canning 23:30, 1 August 2007 (PDT)
The term 'Pay-behavior' is ambiguous, in all my years of scripting I've never heard the term (and it's not for a lack of experience with the feature in question). I tried to explain it in such a way that was both within the editing guidelines (3rd person) and didn't introduce a term that isn't used or defined anywhere on the wiki. Or were you recommending something else altogether? -- Strife Onizuka 22:07, 5 August 2007 (PDT)
