"The client contacts a well known hosting server" - what well known hosting server?
A 'standard' agent domain identifier system is needed here. So that lookup services can be created that map human readable names like "Second Life", "OSGrid" and such to standard identifiers of some sort (e.g. "com.secondlife.agnia") which can further then be used to lookup this "well known host" and other information, such as the 'default' region domain for avatars with a particular agent domain, which region domains are trusted by it perhaps, etc etc - Cenji Neutra 17:34, 5 June 2008 (PDT)
