- [12:19] Alexa Linden: thanks for all the updates and triaging on this Ellla
- [12:20] Harleen Gretzky: But Ellla observed that it could be a dupe of the last one we just talked about
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: WB Ellla
- [12:20] Bridie Linden: Sounds like a dupe of the New Issues in the last one...
- [12:20] Cummere Mayo: hmm so possibly zonealarm wasnt the sole issue on this if im reading ellla correctly?
- [12:21] Ellla McMahon: sorry crashed ... 8337 is going to end up a duplicate of 8717 because people will upgrade their catalyst
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: so dup of 8717?
- [12:21] Cummere Mayo: i would hold off on that
- [12:21] Cummere Mayo: till we see if theres a response with the logs
- [12:21] Aric Linden: I really feel good about Haizo's comments
- [12:21] Ellla McMahon: not yet .. but TAI are obviously aware of slow frame times .. they have addressed the issue in their release notes for 8.8
- [12:21] Ellla McMahon: *ATI
- [12:22] Aric Linden: such positive energy and feedback
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: 8717 is new
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: last weds.
- [12:23] Ellla McMahon: yes the 8.8 was released on 20th
- [12:23] IM: Bridie: Linden: i see now
- [12:23] IM: Bridie: Linden: nice
- [12:23] Cummere Mayo: ild still wait before linking them defiantely as a dupe. to me there seems a good chance mroe then one thing is in play
- [12:24] IM: Bridie: Linden: not to be dickish
- [12:24] Cummere Mayo: but thats jsut a personal feeling looking at the comments
- [12:24] Aric Linden: I like the amount of information in 8337 and I really appreciate that skidz is engaged
- [12:24] IM: Bridie: Linden: i wasn't sure if it was appropriate to wear in public

- [12:27] Cummere Mayo: Well, I can downgrade my "normal" client back to 19.0 and then add
- [12:27] Aric Linden: ok
- [12:28] Cummere Mayo: but i honestly think this is a dupe of others we've triaged
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: patch pool!
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: VWR-2710[c
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-2710
- [12:28] Aric Linden: Cummere - it is, but extra logs is goodness
- [12:29] Aric Linden: I think that Danica's comments say it all for 2710
- [12:29] Bridie Linden: Looks like we need a little more goodness on this patch...
- [12:29] Alexa Linden: I need to ask if the attachment if updated

- [12:32] Aric Linden: yes
- [12:32] Gellan Glenelg: now I'm confused
- [12:32] Aric Linden: by periapse
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: I don't see a lJira number
- [12:32] Harleen Gretzky: The one you skipped has been imported by Peri already
- [12:32] Bridie Linden: 8761 doesn't look imported
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: oh ya
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: refresh your list
- [12:32] Aric Linden: I was lookinga t 2908

- [12:32] Gellan Glenelg: don't know, but can check....
- [12:33] Aric Linden: this is a plot isn't it
- [12:33] Aric Linden: you're all in on it
- [12:33] Alexa Linden: hahahaha

- [12:33] Harleen Gretzky: My alt is on 1.18.5.3, it is broken in that version even
- [12:33] Bridie Linden: it's a short drive...
- [12:33] Aric Linden: nods
- [12:33] Alexa Linden: luaghs
- [12:34] Gellan Glenelg: ty harleen. probably been broken for ages
- [12:34] Bridie Linden: does quick search for dupe

- [12:36] Cummere Mayo: okays is confused which one we on?
- [12:36] Harleen Gretzky: 8761
- [12:37] Gellan Glenelg: the bug repros for me on 1.19.1.4

- [12:38] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:38] Bridie Linden: votes for import, but probably server?
- [12:38] Cummere Mayo: no one probably picked up this was a bug
- [12:38] Alexa Linden: VWR-8283[c
- [12:38] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8283
- [12:38] Cummere Mayo: vote for import um honestly not sure about the server or viewer
- [12:39] Harleen Gretzky: If it were server it would have failed in 1.18.5.3, though
- [12:39] Aric Linden: I can't tell if the problem is that it's a delay in writing to the server or actually a server bug
- [12:39] Aric Linden: pass to sim triage and let them wrangle it
- [12:39] Aric Linden: they DO get paid for something
- [12:39] Aric Linden: :-)
- [12:39] Cummere Mayo: hmm harleen has a point
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: ok :)
- [12:40] Aric Linden: yes, but it might be lag in writing status to server or in getting the update on state delivered back from server
- [12:40] Squirrel Wood: actually Harleen had three points and a comma :p
- [12:40] Aric Linden: :P Squirrel
- [12:40] Cummere Mayo: lol
- [12:40] Cummere Mayo: next one import though not sure if its a bug . ild say import as feature request
- [12:41] Alexa Linden: I would change to a FR
- [12:41] Bridie Linden: nods
- [12:41] Aric Linden: agreed
- [12:42] Alexa Linden: but not sure about importing - I'd leave and see if we get more votes?
- [12:42] Bridie Linden: +1
- [12:42] Alexa Linden: SVC-2049[c
- [12:42] Cummere Mayo: ill vote for it if it will get it improted
- [12:43] Nexii Malthus: OH god I hate that
- [12:43] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2049
- [12:43] Alexa Linden: this has to be a dup
- [12:43] Cummere Mayo: um.... i have a personal coment to make on this one though i think it should be private.
- [12:43] Cummere Mayo: pardon my ignorance but who here would be ranking linden?
- [12:43] Squirrel's Fortune: Cookie: Here's some wisdom for you:
- [12:43] Squirrel's Fortune: Cookie: Matthew: Having a TV in the kitchen is a bad idea. Karen: Know what's worse? Having a kitchen in the bedroom.
- [12:44] Squirrel Wood: knows this fits in here somehow...
- [12:44] Cummere Mayo: looks around?
- [12:45] Aric Linden: ranking linden?
- [12:45] Aric Linden: what do you mean?
- [12:45] Nexii Malthus: Whos' the Daddy?
- [12:45] Alexa Linden: I know this is an issue as I have it each time I'm in SL
- [12:45] Gellan Glenelg: "who's the boss?"
- [12:45] Cummere Mayo: aric ill jsut im you then if i may?
- [12:45] Alexa Linden: and I know it happens with non phantom prims
- [12:45] Aric Linden: ok cummere
- [12:45] Aric Linden: I'll be rank
- [12:45] Alexa Linden: LOL
- [12:45] Aric Linden: :-)
- [12:45] Gellan Glenelg: yes, alexa - kelly's "This bug was specifically (based on the description) for phantom objects" worries me
- [12:46] IM: Aric: Linden: will do
- [12:46] Harleen Gretzky: Then: kelly linden - 20/Aug/08 12:24 PM
- Thanks Wayfinder. Based on what has been said and a quick test I just did with some phantom objects, I'm going to suggest that this bug be re-closed and either one of the other issues you mentioned be re-opened or a new issue be created.
- [12:46] Alexa Linden: I get this in my workshop when building
- [12:46] Gellan Glenelg: it's definitely still a problem, for non-phantom objects
- [12:46] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: now I'm pretty sure we have some version of the yo-yo bug inhouse
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: and I can search
- [12:47] Bridie Linden: is looking
- [12:47] Bridie Linden: let's move on, if that's ok with all -- we can link up later or import as necessary
- [12:48] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8516
- [12:49] IM: Aric: Linden: i'm not going to give her permissions
- [12:49] Alexa Linden: VWR-8516[c
- [12:49] Nexii Malthus: Isn't there a cut off width where the sentence is pushed onto the next row?
- [12:50] Gellan Glenelg: I have the opposite problem on latest nightly: chat never extends beyond half-way across the screen
- [12:50] IM: Aric: Linden: i understand
- [12:50] Bridie Linden: Does it get cut off Gellan, or wrap?
- [12:50] IM: Aric: Linden: she just wants someone to take kelly out to the woodshed and spank him for talking down to resis
- [12:50] Nexii Malthus: Perhaps it should scale with the interface size
- [12:50] Gellan Glenelg: it wraps
- [12:50] IM: Aric: Linden: i told her i'd have a word with him
- [12:50] Gellan Glenelg: but much too early
- [12:50] Harleen Gretzky: Delete or fix your settings file to fix that
- [12:50] Gellan Glenelg: ok
- [12:50] Bridie Linden: glod sart for Harleens work arounds!
- [12:51] Alexa Linden: Woot!
- [12:51] Harleen Gretzky: Caused by Restore Down the window bug, which is another JIRA
- [12:52] IM: Aric: Linden: yep
- [12:52] Bridie Linden: I would vote for not importing VWR-8516
