  • [12:00] Alexa Linden: no more cute bunny for me!
  • [12:00] Drew Dwi: scary ^^
  • [12:00] Alexa Linden: (for today)
  • [12:00] Alexa Linden: feel the ebol!
  • [12:01] Davy Linden: hi
  • [12:01] Alexa Linden: Hey Davy :)
  • [12:01] Alexa Linden: I already sent out the agenda for today
  • [12:01] Tillie Ariantho: Hello. :)
  • [12:01] Alexa Linden: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Bug_triage/Monday_Agenda
  • [12:01] Drew Dwi: hi hi
  • [12:01] Alexa Linden: Hi Soft :)
  • [12:01] Soft Linden: Hey hey
  • [12:02] Alexa Linden: ready when you are Davy
  • [12:02] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-1611 - Profile picks shown inworld do not show up on the web search even with show in search checked.
  • [12:02] Jorge Erin: Hi everyone
  • [12:02] Drew Dwi: I feel like we tested this last week
  • [12:02] Soft Linden: I don't think so
  • [12:02] Soft Linden: Or not on Monday
  • [12:02] Drew Dwi: specifically OO did while we were here?
  • [12:03] Soft Linden: Closest I remember was looking for picks being missing, owing to confusion about edit vs viewing mode on one's own profile...
  • [12:03] Soft Linden: I'd import this to double-check.
  • [12:03] Alexa Linden: yup
  • [12:03] Alexa Linden: will do
  • [12:04] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-5727 - Sim Stability Post 1.38.1 for High Volume Sims
  • [12:04] Soft Linden: It's possible it's only keying a profile rebuild off a subset of the fie.ds
  • [12:04] Drew Dwi: the spike on new avatar entry has gone on for years >.>
  • [12:04] xstorm Radek: what Class was the sim ?
  • [12:05] Soft Linden: I'd like to NMI on this one, asking for specific sims, and if possible - what hosts they were running on, and a snapshot of the sim stats in the ctrl-shift-1 dialog
  • [12:05] Alexa Linden: ok
  • [12:05] xstorm Radek: are there not still some class 5 sims out there that still have problems with load ?
  • [12:06] Soft Linden: I think there is a systematic problem.... but not sure if it's new server types, new datacenter or what
  • [12:06] Soft Linden: The equivalent of class 5 still exists. It was 4 and earlier that were nuked completely recently.
  • [12:06] xstorm Radek: may not the new server be fine but the older class sim be the problem ?
  • [12:07] Soft Linden: Possible. If we can get more info on where the problems are happening most, we can find out
  • [12:08] xstorm Radek: i have seen no problems in Trendone mainland and its a class 7 with a very high render cost on some builds
  • [12:08] Drew Dwi: class 7? o.O
  • [12:08] Kaine Lowenstark: ( having had to work on a class three for months ty LL for upgrading everyone XD)
  • [12:08] Jonathan Yap: They skipped over Class 6
  • [12:08] Drew Dwi: there has been some talk about this on the in the server OH with oskar, but its about future work on the issue
  • [12:09] Drew Dwi: of spikes on new avar arrival in sim
  • [12:09] Soft Linden: Anyway, Alexa's doing the NMI ?
  • [12:09] Alexa Linden: yup
  • [12:09] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-19060 - When I purchase Linden Dollars, I have to close the viewer and restart it in order for the Lindens to appear in my account.
  • [12:09] Soft Linden: Cool cool
  • [12:09] Talisien Llewellyn: Since that was started by Suz, the sim she is having problems with will most likely be Lost Angels, though I cannot say for certain
  • [12:09] Soft Linden: Yeah, I saw this just this morning myself.
  • [12:09] Alexa Linden: lol yup Talisien
  • [12:10] Drew Dwi: there are a ton of issue in on this
  • [12:10] Kaine Lowenstark: can we add to that bug that a transaction also updates the Linden balance
  • [12:10] Alexa Linden: ya, it seems like an issue lately
  • [12:10] xstorm Radek: odd im not getting that problem at all
  • [12:10] Soft Linden: There's something freshly broken, I think.
  • [12:10] Alexa Linden: I hava 5 minute wait on my linden delivery yesterday on my resi
  • [12:10] Davy Linden: I'd be surprised if there's not already an internal version of this
  • [12:10] xstorm Radek: hold on they are using the beta viewer still ?
  • [12:10] Alexa Linden: and I was on an empty sim
  • [12:11] Soft Linden: +1 Davy
  • [12:11] Alexa Linden: I can ping support and see if they have something going on this internally
  • [12:11] Soft Linden: Well, I saw this with Snowglobe 1.3 this morning
  • [12:11] Bronson Blackadder: I get it on all 2.0 direvatives
  • [12:11] Bronson Blackadder: and even 1.23 lately
  • [12:11] Kaine Lowenstark: Person i helped yesterday had 1.23
  • [12:11] Soft Linden: That sounds good. Yeah, this is one people would call Support on in a hurry :)
  • [12:11] Soft Linden: So they should have a wealth of data
  • [12:11] xstorm Radek: the money problem may be do to the beta viewer
  • [12:11] Alexa Linden: ok - I'll take this one
  • [12:11] Bronson Blackadder: transaction history shows it
  • [12:11] Bronson Blackadder: but it doesnt update inworld
  • [12:12] Soft Linden: Right.
  • [12:12] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-5707 - Scripted vendors that change root prim (payed enable prim) not refresh correctly
  • [12:12] xstorm Radek: thats like the sound bug in viewer 2 the support desk has no clue
  • [12:13] Soft Linden: From my reading of this - they specifically mean that the object name isn't updated properly in the transaction logs
  • [12:13] Soft Linden: ?
  • [12:13] xstorm Radek: how did they code that vender if they did not use UUID data ?
  • [12:14] Soft Linden: There's a slurl in a vendor that should do that. I'd maybe hike that up into the issue description, change the summary to reflect that this is the object name in the transaction history, and QA
  • [12:14] Alexa Linden: ok
  • [12:14] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-5607 - llRequestUrl(); fails to start on region restart
  • [12:14] Soft Linden: Wrong data in transaction histories could be pretty bad for record keeping, replacing lost items and such.
  • [12:14] Talisien Llewellyn: I will do some testing when I get back to my store and see if I can repro this issue
  • [12:15] Soft Linden: Cool, thanks!
  • [12:15] Alexa Linden: thanks Talisien :)
  • [12:15] Soft Linden: No votes, not much detail... does this person know the URL changes on resetart?
  • [12:16] Soft Linden: Or which changed event are they keying on?
  • [12:16] xstorm Radek: i have no clue what they are trying to do ?
  • [12:16] Alexa Linden: dropping to major
  • [12:16] Soft Linden: I think I'd like to NMI, asking for a sample script that should repro this.
  • [12:16] Davy Linden: ask for a script which demonstrates the problem?
  • [12:16] Alexa Linden: not critical
  • [12:16] Davy Linden: jinx
  • [12:16] Alexa Linden: ok soft
  • [12:16] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18924 - Ctrl Z has stopped working when editing several prims
  • [12:17] Soft Linden: We did have this one last week
  • [12:17] Soft Linden: Was there any conclusion on this last week?
  • [12:18] Alexa LindenAlexa Linden goes back to check.....
  • [12:18] xstorm Radek: Ctrl Z works
  • [12:19] Ellla McMahon: "# [12:34] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18924 - Ctrl Z has stopped working when editing several prims
  • # [12:35] Soft Linden: I'd ask if this is still a problem - I know I was using this a lot on the weekend, and it was still fine
  • # [12:35] Soft Linden: Comment says similar "
  • [12:19] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18924] Ctrl Z has stopped working when editing several prims
  • [12:19] Alexa Linden: ty ellla
  • [12:19] Soft Linden: Yup, there it is
  • [12:19] Alexa Linden: I keep locking up...
  • [12:19] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-5583 - Scripts fail to compile, run, delete, and randomly appear as "Old Script" in inventory
  • [12:19] Soft Linden: Locking up. That happened to me when I tried Restrained Life. They said it was expected behavior.
  • [12:19] Davy Linden: lol
  • [12:19] Alexa Linden: lol
  • [12:20] Soft Linden: So last one was NMI - still happening for anyone?
  • [12:20] Alexa Linden: yup
  • [12:20] Alexa Linden: ty
  • [12:20] Bronson Blackadder: um ...
  • [12:20] Soft Linden: cool
  • [12:20] Alexa Linden: yes Bronson?
  • [12:20] Aargle Zymurgy: I get that problem regularly, but on when doing automated script replacements
  • [12:20] Bronson Blackadder: never mind
  • [12:20] Bronson Blackadder: lol
  • [12:20] xstorm Radek: it works fine for me
  • [12:20] Alexa Linden: LD
  • [12:20] Alexa Linden: XD
  • [12:20] Soft Linden: I knoooow we had this one
  • [12:20] Aargle Zymurgy: *only
  • [12:20] xstorm Radek: why are they having problems with Ctrl Z ?
  • [12:21] Davy Linden: last week: [12:49] Soft Linden: Looks like he should be working with support
  • [12:21] Soft Linden: Okay. We did contact support, and yeah...
  • [12:21] Davy Linden: for SVC-5583
  • [12:21] Alexa Linden: send back to support?
  • [12:22] Alexa Linden: it has 6 votes
  • [12:22] Soft Linden: Well, we could ask core if there's anything they know of that creates an "Old Script" asset
  • [12:22] Davy Linden: hmm. last comment says support told him to file a jira
  • [12:22] Alexa Linden: but only one person commenting on it
  • [12:22] Alexa Linden: ok I can ask them
  • [12:22] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-1605 - Since new release, RSS feed for news is not updating
  • [12:23] Alexa Linden: a bug from that drew guy ^^
  • [12:23] Soft Linden: This should go to web - they should have a redirect to the new feed URL if it's moved
  • [12:23] Alexa Linden: will do
  • [12:23] Soft Linden: If we got rid of Drew, we'd have fewer bugs >:C
  • [12:24] Soft Linden: (I think that's how it works)
  • [12:24] xstorm Radek: lol
  • [12:24] Drew Dwi: <.<
  • [12:24] Ellla McMahon: LOL
  • [12:24] Alexa Linden: hahaha
  • [12:24] xstorm Radek: poor Drew
  • [12:24] Drew Dwi: >.>
  • [12:24] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-14800 - Viewer Crash on Mac OS when uploading any images
  • [12:24] Malarthi Behemoth: Drew has the rare power to actually generate bugs in otherwise bug free code with his mere presense?
  • [12:24] Alexa Linden: he does!
  • [12:24] Alexa Linden: it's like magic or something
  • [12:24] Drew Dwi: lies and blasphemy
  • [12:25] Tillie Ariantho: :P
  • [12:25] Drew Dwi: hmmm
  • [12:25] Drew Dwi: we should ask for the image they are trying to upload
  • [12:25] xstorm Radek: not funny i have been with Drew when things have gone and crash it was not him trust me lol
  • [12:25] Soft Linden: He has 8 gigs of RAM. That's not an issue, but it's grounds to close the issue with the "Hardware Envy" resolution
  • [12:26] Davy Linden: drew: ellla already did
  • [12:26] Ellla McMahon: Dessie's comment 30-Jul-09 seems to resolve these issues on Macs
  • [12:26] Drew Dwi: haha
  • [12:26] Drew Dwi: I can test this on my mac if wait a min
  • [12:26] Tillie Ariantho: How long does it last till ge crashes?
  • [12:27] Tillie Ariantho: When I open the image upload and keep the dialog open long, then SL quits after some time...
  • [12:27] Davy Linden: just tried on 1.23.5, on mac. no crash
  • [12:27] Tillie Ariantho: on windows.
  • [12:27] Soft Linden: I'm seeing if she's submitted the crash report online...
  • [12:27] Bronson Blackadder: oh yeah
  • [12:27] Bronson Blackadder: that glitch
  • [12:27] xstorm Radek: crap i forgot to report that crash report for Havok 7 still :-(
  • [12:27] Soft Linden: And my god, is the crash report browser running slowly right now
  • [12:27] Tillie Ariantho: Maybe its the crash tool killing SL because it doesnt respond for a long time... on my side, no idea. ;)
  • [12:28] Malarthi Behemoth: It's a basic windows file dialog
  • [12:28] Malarthi Behemoth: No way it should be able to crash a program by invoking it.
  • [12:28] Tillie Ariantho: But does. :P
  • [12:28] Bronson Blackadder: well yes
  • [12:28] Bronson Blackadder: it does
  • [12:29] Malarthi Behemoth: Something does
  • [12:29] Talisien Llewellyn: That happens to me as well, If I leave the upload window up too long, it will crash
  • [12:29] Tillie Ariantho: And sometimes upload doesnt work... and if you try a second time, SL crashes at an instant.
  • [12:29] Bronson Blackadder: I bet I can do it right now
  • [12:29] xstorm Radek: OMG!! its a Ontyne please may i teach him ?
  • [12:29] Tillie Ariantho: So after 1 failed upload, you have to restart Sl before a new try.
  • [12:29] Soft Linden: Well, I can't browse their crash reports right now.
  • [12:29] Davy Linden: nor me, soft
  • [12:30] Bronson Blackadder: tillie how long does it take before it logs you out?
  • [12:30] Soft Linden: I think I'd NMI asking if anyone but this person has the issue still.
  • [12:30] Ellla McMahon: Dessie Linden added a comment - 30/Jul/09 02:23 PM
  • Relates to Linden Lab Issue ID DEV-26409
  • [12:30] Tillie Ariantho: It's a bad pointer allocation or something in the log. So if the first upload failed, there is some weird memory allocation done, which kills SL on nex try. ^^
  • [12:30] Bronson Blackadder: thats happened to me since I started playing sl
  • [12:30] Jonathan Yap: I think I remember reading somewhere that if you are in upload mode for too long the main loop of the viewer times out and your connection goes away, it's about 1m 45 sec or so
  • [12:30] Bronson Blackadder: leave teh dialog open too long and teh game shuts off
  • [12:30] Soft Linden: "This is an Apple bug. In LLFilePicker::doNavChooseDialog(...), whenever NavDialogRun(...) tries to open a folder under iPhoto Library, the viewer will hang, and then crash on some gl calls, such as setSubImage from dynamicTexture flow or somewhere in vertexBuffer mapping. All other folders are fine."
  • [12:30] Tillie Ariantho: Bronson: No idea... if I search around too long via the file dialog, no idea... 30 seconds? ;)
  • [12:31] Bronson Blackadder: interrupts teh data exchange or something
  • [12:31] Jonathan Yap: Same thing happens if you are moving the window around for that time period
  • [12:31] Bronson Blackadder: please forgive my lack of tech talk
  • [12:31] Soft Linden: Yeah, let's NMI - happening for anyone else? And are they browsing iPhoto photos?
  • [12:31] Alexa Linden: never an issue Bronson :)
  • [12:31] Alexa Linden: ok
  • [12:31] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-1615 - http://world.secondlife.com/place is no longer updated
  • [12:31] xstorm Radek: Do not look at me i use a windows 7 server no mac for me i kill them to fast
  • [12:31] Tillie Ariantho: I prefer to move my photos to X:\1\ for uploading so I dont have to search too long. :P
  • [12:32] Bronson Blackadder: yeah an easy to find folder helps
  • [12:32] xstorm Radek: 404 link lol
  • [12:32] Soft Linden: Yeah, import this please - the web guys should be able to verify this quickly.
  • [12:32] xstorm Radek: 403
  • [12:32] Alexa Linden: will do
  • [12:32] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3166 - llVolumeDetect collision_start/collision_end undependable
  • [12:34] Soft Linden: This miiiight be related to the havok4 duty cycling stuff... I'd import and pass this right on to Falcon
  • [12:34] Alexa Linden: k
  • [12:34] Malarthi Behemoth: My alt just crashed reproing that image upload bug. Console didn't pick up anything odd, but it's definitely dead.
  • [12:34] xstorm Radek: ? 2 collisions is not one of them the avatar the other the sim ?
  • [12:34] Soft Linden: Because I don't think that stuff works the same way in the next version
  • [12:34] Soft Linden: Malarthi - did you upload a crash report?
  • [12:34] Malarthi Behemoth: Hasn't prompted me Soft
  • [12:35] Davy Linden: ,alarthi, could you comment on the issue, with crash report pls?
  • [12:35] Malarthi Behemoth: One sec
  • [12:35] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-5057 - http_response accepts text/xml but not application/xml responses
  • [12:35] Malarthi Behemoth: Modal dialog is preventing the crash reporter from opening.
  • [12:35] Soft Linden: I'd import this and pass it right to Kelly
  • [12:35] Alexa Linden: roger
  • [12:36] Soft Linden: He should have a quick answer if anyone would
  • [12:36] Alexa Linden: k
  • [12:36] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-5647 - "Nearby Region" for PG region is Adult infohub.
  • [12:36] Bronson Blackadder: lol
  • [12:36] Tillie Ariantho: ^^
  • [12:36] Soft Linden: Adventure!
  • [12:36] Bronson Blackadder: lol
  • [12:36] Drew Dwi: I think this is expected behavior
  • [12:36] Skills Hak: depends on your settings
  • [12:36] Alexa Linden: ooh I had this the other day!
  • [12:37] Drew Dwi: your routed to the highest level hub you have access too
  • [12:37] Soft Linden: I think if you're set adult, any infohub is fair game, yeah.
  • [12:37] Alexa Linden: landed in Adult on my linden
  • [12:37] Tillie Ariantho: I still think TP to nearest location totally sucks!
  • [12:37] xstorm Radek: lol
  • [12:37] Alexa Linden: I think I probably freaked them out :p
  • [12:37] Soft Linden: Alexa: Sure, that's your excuse!
  • [12:37] Tillie Ariantho: its always the next overcrowded places!
  • [12:37] xstorm Radek: roflmao
  • [12:37] Alexa Linden: reallllly!
  • [12:37] Alexa Linden: I swear!
  • [12:37] Drew Dwi: to protect someone in an adult situation who crashes, they can't under any circumstances get routed to a non-adult hub
  • [12:37] Bronson Blackadder: OMG!!!! A LINDEN!!! ITS A RAID!!!! RUUUUUNNNNNNN!!!!!!!\
  • [12:37] Alexa Linden: I searched posed and .......
  • [12:37] Drew Dwi: is that why your wearing that av today Alexa?
  • [12:37] Drew Dwi: :P
  • [12:37] Alexa Linden: lol pretty close
  • [12:38] Alexa Linden: that's almost as bad
  • [12:38] Alexa Linden: that's wide spread panic and walls of IMs
  • [12:38] Tillie Ariantho: I am a photographer using highest displays settings and all, I need to keep my memory down... but when I crash at a show and try to get back... and get TPed to an overcroweded sim, I can just log off again... its really bad.
  • [12:38] Alexa Linden: oh hai!
  • [12:38] xstorm Radek: i like to see some one from a pg sim endup in a adult info hub with nude people around them lol
  • [12:38] Soft Linden: Sure sounds like expected behavior though. Nya should be able to verify if it's worth a check.
  • [12:38] Tillie Ariantho: so this TP to next noobplaces is the worst solution ever.
  • [12:38] Tillie Ariantho: it NEVER ever TPed me home.
  • [12:39] xstorm Radek: i do not think thats in the wiki for support
  • [12:39] Alexa Linden: and I think this issue already exists
  • [12:39] Alexa Linden: I'll check with Nya and team
  • [12:39] Alexa Linden: I'll take this one
  • [12:39] Alexa Linden: <.<
  • [12:39] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11418 - Textures in 1.21.6 don't load even after clicking them
  • [12:39] Davy Linden: 1.21??
  • [12:39] Drew Dwi: lol
  • [12:39] Drew Dwi: this is one of these bugs that people re-open and update 3 years later
  • [12:39] Alexa Linden: needs more info - latest veiwer....
  • [12:40] Bronson Blackadder: that sounds liek old snowglobe stuff
  • [12:40] Davy Linden: Affects Version/s: 1.21, 1.22 Release Candidate, 1.22 Public Nightly, Viewer 2.0 Beta
  • [12:40] Drew Dwi: yea lol
  • [12:40] xstorm Radek: i must point out yet again thats the older Beta viewer
  • [12:40] Malarthi Behemoth: Soft, Davy: Crash was not caught by the Crash Reporter, it was handled by the "Darn. You have been logged out of Second Life./n/tThis region may be experiencing trouble. Please check your connection to the internet."
  • [12:40] Tillie Ariantho: Happens to me all the time. And the texture fetching strategy still is really bad.
  • [12:40] Soft Linden: Ah yay.
  • [12:40] Tillie Ariantho: I still have all textures loaded around me but not the one right in front of me.
  • [12:41] Soft Linden: Did the upload attempt take a really, really long time? Long enough for a timeout?
  • [12:41] Malarthi Behemoth: If I force a crash, it'll still give me a crash log, right?
  • [12:41] Bronson Blackadder: its faster then a timeout
  • [12:41] Tillie Ariantho: and lately this reload-loop-textures bug, that one is REALLY annoying.
  • [12:41] Soft Linden: Yes, it should
  • [12:41] Soft Linden: Very odd.
  • [12:41] xstorm Radek: ok lets see about texture load prublems
  • [12:41] Bronson Blackadder: its like it stops sending packets to SL
  • [12:42] Bronson Blackadder: if you really want to try it,,, everyone open up the picture download dialog and just wait
  • [12:42] Bronson Blackadder: see how long it takes before you all vanish
  • [12:42] Alexa Linden: lol
  • [12:42] Bronson Blackadder: should take more then about a minute and a half
  • [12:42] Soft Linden: Honestly, I'd kick this one down the road until after http-textures are released.
  • [12:42] Bronson Blackadder: no more then a minute and a half
  • [12:43] Soft Linden: Or ask Dan to see if it happens in one of the http-texture test regions.
  • [12:43] Kaine Lowenstark: http textures ??
  • [12:43] Alexa Linden: ok
  • [12:43] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8615 - Media Parcel URL set via llParcelMediaCommandList does not change parcel media type sensibly - and leaves previously set media running
  • [12:43] Soft Linden: Yeah. Soon textures will be served up via http instead of our weird custom protocol.
  • [12:43] Soft Linden: The protocol's good for real time stuff on a flaky connection, but miserable for bulk data transfers.
  • [12:44] Kaine Lowenstark: *reads wiki*
  • [12:44] xstorm Radek: when the textures get on there own Http server it will be better
  • [12:44] Skills Hak: this is about content type auto detection with lsl?
  • [12:45] Jonathan Yap: I think a sim will still fetch a texture from an asset server but then will hand it to you via http
  • [12:45] xstorm Radek: why are we still using LSL ?
  • [12:45] Tillie Ariantho: Oh btw. anyone have an idea why FRAPS cant take snapshots of SL anymore, when SL is at the edge of crashing because of exhausted memory? ^^ Really weird thing. :P
  • [12:45] Soft Linden: I'm not sure what they're expecting here...
  • [12:45] Soft Linden: But their script doesnt set PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_TYPE so of course it's not going to change the type ... ?
  • [12:45] Soft Linden: Maybe they don't know that they need to pass PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_TYPE with the PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_URL ?
  • [12:46] xstorm Radek: ?
  • [12:46] Soft Linden: I think I'd NMI, asking if something unexpected still happens if they include an appropriate PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_TYPE
  • [12:46] Skrrp Morpork: . TASTY BUNNEH
  • [12:46] Alexa Linden: ok
  • [12:46] Skrrp Morpork: sorry, hotkeys
  • [12:46] Alexa Linden: LOL
  • [12:46] Skills Hak: xD
  • [12:46] xstorm Radek: :-)
  • [12:46] Skrrp Morpork: was trying to activate fraps
  • [12:47] Alexa Linden: just stay over on your own bench Skrrp.......
  • [12:47] xstorm Radek: yep know all about hoy keys lol
  • [12:47] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-1548 - Viewer 2.0 SLURLS are not compatible with XStreetSL's SLURL field
  • [12:47] Soft Linden: Ah yeah - I'd import this
  • [12:48] xstorm Radek: i have had that same problem with xstreet
  • [12:48] Alexa Linden: k
  • [12:48] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-667 - Opening screen doesn't scale to 16:10 (WQXGA) screen size resolution on 30" (2560x1600)
  • [12:48] Soft Linden: Probably save a ton of support mails.
  • [12:48] Soft Linden: "Hardware Envy" resolution again.
  • [12:48] Tillie Ariantho: I can reproduce that one. :P
  • [12:48] Alexa Linden: wow... oldie but goodie
  • [12:49] xstorm Radek: VERRY OLD PC AND OS
  • [12:49] Soft Linden: Yeah, ditto. I used to see this on my old Cinema 30.
  • [12:49] Davy Linden: sounds like someone in QA needs a 30" screen to test with :)
  • [12:49] Alexa Linden: lol
  • [12:49] Soft Linden: Now I have a 27. I shrink in old age. :<
  • [12:49] Drew Dwi: someone better get davy a 300 asap
  • [12:49] Alexa Linden: yes please!!!
  • [12:49] Drew Dwi: err 30
  • [12:49] Malarthi Behemoth: 300" :P
  • [12:49] xstorm Radek: tell them to Up date there system
  • [12:49] xstorm Radek: no one supports that system any more
  • [12:49] Tillie Ariantho: Problem is not the too small texture per se...
  • [12:49] xstorm Radek: not even the makers
  • [12:50] Soft Linden: That said, I think they'll find that using SL at 2560x1600 isn't going to be so hot without God's Own Graphics Card.
  • [12:50] Jonathan Yap: How about SL on one of those video walls you see at concerts? :)
  • [12:50] Tillie Ariantho: but sometimes you have links to click... the clicky parts are not where the screen shows the url. ^^
  • [12:50] Kaine Lowenstark: God's Own still lags on mainland
  • [12:50] Alexa LindenAlexa Linden goes to google that.....
  • [12:50] xstorm Radek: lol
  • [12:50] Ardy Lay: Might as well throw out Viewer will not render world view at sizes greater than 4096 pixels horizontal.
  • [12:50] Tillie Ariantho: If you make the window smaller so it fits around the texture, then the links are clickable.
  • [12:51] Soft Linden: The cooling output for God's Own Graphics Card is responsible for what some call "hell.'
  • [12:51] Alexa Linden: well monitors are betting bigger
  • [12:51] Ardy Lay: And yes, I have gone there. Worked at 4096. :-)
  • [12:51] Alexa Linden: and cheaper
  • [12:51] xstorm Radek: the new Nvidia has custom settings for that
  • [12:51] Tillie Ariantho: The scaling is just limited somewhere. I guess it's hardcoded.
  • [12:51] Kaine Lowenstark: even Gods computer setup cant run Blue Mars effectively
  • [12:51] Alexa Linden: lmao
  • [12:51] Alexa Linden: snap!
  • [12:52] Bronson Blackadder: oh hey that reminds me
  • [12:52] xstorm Radek: do not dirty this sim with that blue crud
  • [12:52] Alexa Linden: poor god :(
  • [12:52] Soft Linden: The download for the cornfield alone is 800 megs.
  • [12:52] Kaine Lowenstark: XD
  • [12:52] Bronson Blackadder: when is the viewer going to support SLI video cards
  • [12:52] Kaine Lowenstark: IT DOESNT
  • [12:52] Kaine Lowenstark: lol I just looked at buying SLI's for two weeks for SL
  • [12:52] Tillie Ariantho: Hey, dont laugh about this bug. :P The message of the day URLs are not clickable. Thats not funny. ;)
  • [12:52] xstorm Radek: Soft can i get the Cornfield on a Opensim lol
  • [12:52] Soft Linden: I'd have thought that was a driver issue. What happens if you try using SLI?
  • [12:53] Tillie Ariantho: Or if there is the small info window on the top right, thats not clickable either.
  • [12:53] Bronson Blackadder: it just runs one card
  • [12:53] Soft Linden: Weird.
  • [12:53] Bronson Blackadder: I has two 8800 ul;tras chomping at teh bit
  • [12:53] Bronson Blackadder: but only one runs
  • [12:53] Soft Linden: I'd see if your card vendor has a support forum, and I'd ask about it there. See if they say there's something games need to do explicitly, or if they have to whitelist apps for SLI.
  • [12:53] Tillie Ariantho: Ok, if I click around on the screen I CAN find the clickable part, but it is not where it is DISPLAYED on the screen.
  • [12:53] Bronson Blackadder: both work on other games
  • [12:54] Alexa Linden: do we have a resolution for 667 yet?
  • [12:54] xstorm Radek: please put them old things in the dust bin
  • [12:54] Tillie Ariantho: The texture and the click sensitive part are on different locations.
  • [12:54] Jonathan Yap: Tillie, are you on viewer 2?
  • [12:54] Soft Linden: Yup, that was import I thought
  • [12:54] Alexa Linden: ok
  • [12:54] Tillie Ariantho: Jonathan: thats on ANY client.
  • [12:54] Soft Linden: I've definitely seen that myself
  • [12:54] Alexa Linden: hard to tell with all the god talkd :p
  • [12:54] Tillie Ariantho: Emerald, Snowglobe 1.4, Client 2.0
  • [12:54] Soft Linden: Sorry :3
  • [12:54] Bronson Blackadder: lol
  • [12:55] Soft Linden: So anyway, about that Jesus...
  • [12:55] xstorm Radek: what god talk ?
  • [12:55] Alexa Linden: and I think that was the last issue for today!
  • [12:55] Alexa Linden: lol
  • [12:55] Drew Dwi: let me see if anyone can repro this real quick
  • [12:55] Bronson Blackadder: lol
  • [12:55] Drew Dwi: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-19203
  • [12:55] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-19203] Unable to Return, Delete, Block while media ring is active
