[15:53] SHAMUS Carter: SL will be implementing a dynamic groups limit at some point. Initially it will be set to 40, but Andrew Linden said they may lower that if it causes too much load on their servers.
It is done in viewer 2.4 by using the login response key “max-agent-groups”, and falling back to 25 if that’s not present. Currently this is not implemented yet in Agni or Aditi.
[15:53] Maestro Linden: but some day, when all the servers support custom limits, we'll increase the limit everywhere at once
[15:53] Maestro Linden: and the viewers (e.g. 2.4) that support configurable group limits will pick up the setting at login time
