- [12:13] Bridie Linden: feel better
- [12:14] Bridie Linden: ok, onto 982
- [12:14] Gellan Glenelg: llots of votes, but is it specific enough to import?
- [12:14] Yann Dufaux: i know i need to make my wiki, but i have to many thing this week :)
- [12:14] Bridie Linden: Yoz has been engaged on that one
- [12:14] Bridie Linden: Not sure we need to import
- [12:15] Gellan Glenelg: k
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: add triaged date?
- [12:15] Bridie Linden: he responded today,
- [12:15] Bridie Linden: sure alexa, ty
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-1817
- [12:16] Soft Linden: Ugh. This should be imported.
- [12:16] Gellan Glenelg: +1
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:16] Soft Linden: Really, the right fix is to not make the from: address the reporter's address. That's silly.
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11903
- [12:17] Bridie Linden: (kona is still trying to get here, hard crash)
- [12:17] Soft Linden: Per the comments, this is still happening in 1.22.10. The summary should be changed to reflect that.
- [12:18] Soft Linden: does that real quick
- [12:18] Bridie Linden: ty soft
- [12:18] Alexa Linden: thanks
- [12:18] Soft Linden: I would import, but also ask for people to provide some viewer logs.
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: will do
- [12:19] Bridie Linden: nods
- [12:19] Soft Linden: We don't get crash logs for the voice component, but we should see what's going on when it crashes on the SL end.
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: lol I like this next one
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-7175
- [12:19] Gellan Glenelg: I need everyone here to give me L$1,000,000 so I can try to test this ;PPPP
- [12:19] Soft Linden: A few people already provided log snippets in the last. That's good.
- [12:20] xstorm Radek: odd i use windows vista 64 bit and i see voice problems too
- [12:20] Kona Linden: ha...finally made it! Sorry...bluescreen crash & whatnot...!
- [12:20] Soft Linden: Would sure love to have this bug.
- [12:20] Bridie Linden: :)
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: np :) we're on https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-7175
- [12:20] Squirrel Wood: someone out there will always have voice issues
- [12:20] Bridie Linden: waves @ kona
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: any donations so I can test this?
- [12:20] Soft Linden: I'd import it for RX, ask how they think it should be represented.
- [12:20] xstorm Radek: hi Kona
- [12:20] Gellan Glenelg: import for QA? I don't see how any of us can test it!
- [12:20] Kona Linden: Thx for TP Bridie~!
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: will do
- [12:21] Squirrel Wood: anything above 500k L$ should just show "filthy rich"
- [12:21] xstorm Radek: i had to stop using the RC do to voice problems
- [12:21] Soft Linden: SLProxy has a module that spoofs large amounts of L$. I'd guess that's how this person saw it.
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: hahahaha
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: next up we have https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3931
- [12:21] Soft Linden: For L$10 million on up, it should just say "YOU WIN" and roll the credits.
- [12:21] Yann Dufaux: you charge a taxe for exedant mony on account? LOL
- [12:21] Kona Linden: that one again?
- [12:22] Gellan Glenelg: is it a dupe, kona?
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: the texture one?
- [12:22] Kona Linden: oh wait...I think I'm mixing that one with another one...nvm
- [12:22] Soft Linden: Ah. This should not happen if the texture is copiable.
- [12:22] Kona Linden: +1
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: QA to test?
- [12:22] Kona Linden: yeah, to confirm pls
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:22] xstorm Radek: ?
- [12:22] Soft Linden: Yeah. I'd import it for QA, also add the suggestion that this only be done for no-copy textures.
- [12:23] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:23] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-619
- [12:23] Squirrel Wood: no copy? If you have the key you can apply it. :p
- [12:23] Soft Linden: Not that there's a whole lot of point to texture protection... but people get oddly anxous regardless.
- [12:23] Qie Niangao: (possibly no-transfer)
- [12:23] Gellan Glenelg: Hmm. I don't think it's a good idea to assume that US residents cannot have a VAT ID
- [12:24] Soft Linden: A US resident can well have a European business interest
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:24] Gellan Glenelg: exactly
- [12:24] Squirrel Wood: That feature may be there for those who need it. And for those that don't, well, they can ignore it ?
- [12:24] xstorm Radek: i had no problem moving textures in and out
- [12:24] Soft Linden: I'd won't-fix this
- [12:24] Squirrel Wood: works as intended?
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: that or expected behavior?
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: EB then?
- [12:24] Soft Linden: Oh! Yes!
- [12:25] Soft Linden: I thought we only had that internally
- [12:25] Kona Linden: yeah
- [12:25] Alexa Linden: another web one
- [12:25] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-810
- [12:25] Phillip Vought: Equibrad Voom has a picture board in horse valley that can repro the texture bug easily
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: thanks Phillip!
- [12:26] Kona Linden: nice Philip!
- [12:26] Soft Linden: I expect WEB-810 is intentional.
- [12:26] Soft Linden: Transparent redirection results in Google, etc indexing the old and new location both.
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: you care to comment Soft?
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: then I ca mark as EB?
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: can*
- [12:27] Soft Linden: Yeah, I'll add that comment and needs-more-info, asking if he can suggest why we'd do it.
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: ahh ok NMI
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: thanks :)
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12285
- [12:27] Bridie Linden: i pinged sally on last one too
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: thanks :)
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: this next one is true but 8000M is more than the highest draw distance correct?
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: you can see a longer distance looking down from above
- [12:29] Soft Linden: So, trunk includes substantial rendering changes. This can be imported as a 1.23 bug
- [12:29] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:29] Kona Linden: I believe you're correct on that one, Alexa
- [12:29] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6673
- [12:29] Soft Linden: Yeah. I think the real bug is that the water appears at all up there - not that it flickers.
- [12:30] Phillip Vought: I want a PC that can run at a View distance of 8000m.. I'll give you the mailing address
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: what's the max height for banlines?
- [12:30] Bridie Linden: )
- [12:30] Bridie Linden: :)
- [12:30] WolfPup Lowenhar: i can do that i have a good vid card
- [12:30] Soft Linden: Ergh, this one is pretty old.
- [12:30] Kona Linden: 75 meteres?
- [12:30] Gellan Glenelg: I think it depends wither it's an implicit or explicit ban
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: thanks
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: still a problem/needs more info?
- [12:31] Qie Niangao: implicit is 50m AGL, explicit 768m AGL (strangely enough)
- [12:31] Soft Linden: And no other reports of it happening. I'd be inclined to needs-more-info and ask if it's still happening
- [12:31] Soft Linden: Yeah.
- [12:31] Kona Linden: Gah, I can't recall all the old classic CS answers...lol
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8462
- [12:31] xstorm Radek: is there a limit ?
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: another oldie
- [12:31] Kona Linden: xstorm, there used to be
- [12:32] Kona Linden: though I'm sure there still is
- [12:32] Soft Linden: I'd ask for a repro item on this. And is it happening on any popular content?
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-2951
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: 2 years old :p
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: NMI
- [12:33] Soft Linden: Yeah
- [12:33] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8669
- [12:33] Alexa Linden: old
- [12:33] Yann Dufaux: 2 year of patiance its great of this users ;)
- [12:33] Squirrel Wood: still happening? ^^
- [12:33] Alexa Linden: nmi
- [12:34] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6225
- [12:34] Alexa Linden: so it this the option where your inventory opens when you add things?
- [12:34] Alexa Linden: if so, I can explain how to change this
- [12:35] Gellan Glenelg: I suspect this is expected behaviour - but the annoying behaviour cahn be switched off
- [12:35] Alexa Linden: ok I'll comment on this one
- [12:35] Soft Linden: Where is it switched off?
- [12:36] Soft Linden: I don't remember switching it off - but it didn't happen for me.
- [12:36] Kona Linden: is this when dragging items from an object TO one's inventory window?
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: popups
- [12:36] Gellan Glenelg: edit, preferences, popups, automaticall show newly accepted....
- [12:36] Soft Linden: Dragging from build window contents to world (rezzing content)
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: automatically show newly accepted objects in inventorry
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: next up is https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-5896
- [12:37] Soft Linden: What's the resolution on the last one?
- [12:38] Alexa Linden: I'll take that and talk to her soft
- [12:38] Soft Linden: kk
- [12:38] Phillip Vought: this should be a support call
- [12:38] Alexa Linden: ask her if it's the preferences, etc
- [12:38] Alexa Linden: this ine is a year old
- [12:38] Phillip Vought: 5896 should rather
- [12:38] Soft Linden: Yeah, year old - would NMI - still happening?
- [12:38] Alexa Linden: lex's comment kind os sums it up
- [12:38] Alexa Linden: ya, soft I'll mark it NMI
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-2910
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: 2 years old
- [12:39] Soft Linden: Did we skip 2951?
- [12:39] Gellan Glenelg: re Lex's comment: Is there a SEC issue on this?
- [12:39] Soft Linden: oops nevermind - was NMI
- [12:39] Soft Linden: Ignore me! Generally a safe rule.
- [12:40] Alexa Linden: for 2910 gigs?
- [12:40] Gellan Glenelg: I'm not gigs!
- [12:40] Alexa Linden: eeh gellan
- [12:40] Alexa Linden: lol sorry
- [12:40] Kona Linden: lol
- [12:40] Kona Linden: ouch
- [12:40] Gellan Glenelg: but yeah - lex suggests it's an exploit, so maybe there's a SEC or internal report?
- [12:40] Alexa Linden: has another issue open with his name on it :p
- [12:40] Kona Linden: nice
- [12:40] Kona Linden: who knew?
- [12:41] Alexa Linden: ya, I can move then cross reference with their issues
- [12:41] Alexa Linden: what do you think kona/soft/bridie
- [12:41] Phillip Vought: Well if it's an SEC, maybe ask Lex to remove the repro ;)
- [12:41] xstorm Radek: will some one fix the billing system ? or update it ?
- [12:41] Soft Linden: I'd import this for QA
- [12:41] Phillip Vought: and leave the fix?
- [12:41] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:42] Yann Dufaux: hm,, ok i take a markpage of this and i inspect this bugs, for this week :)
- [12:42] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-5183
- [12:42] Soft Linden: When you import the last, please add the security component too, in case Lex is right on that.
- [12:42] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:42] Squirrel Wood: windowblinds.... 3rd party app. no support?
- [12:43] Squirrel Wood: and its known to not be very stable
- [12:43] Bridie Linden: :|
- [12:43] Soft Linden: I'd encourage him to send a crash log when this happens. But I can't see it being a priority unless we see something blindingly obvious in the crash report/log.
- [12:43] Kona Linden: SL running on secondary monitor...doesn't that cause other issues as well, ie Blackface?
- [12:44] Alexa Linden: yes
- [12:44] Kona Linden: when using dual monitors, SL needs to be run on the primary monitor
- [12:44] WolfPup Lowenhar: windows blinds is third party to windows and has been know to cause system slow downs in windows its self
- [12:44] Alexa Linden: black face or Desktop images being put into SL
- [12:44] Kona Linden: ahhh
- [12:44] Alexa Linden: so NMI please attache crash log?
- [12:45] Alexa Linden: attach*
- [12:45] Soft Linden: Yus
- [12:45] Kona Linden: not even gonna comment them running an Nvidia 8400...
- [12:45] Yann Dufaux: Kona, i need to make this setup to because if i inspecting a bugs, i have to many snapshot on my desktop its very hard:)
- [12:45] WolfPup Lowenhar: might help you you had there systems specs as well
- [12:45] Soft Linden: Attach log -and- send crash report. The pair helps.
- [12:45] Kona Linden: Yann, good point
- [12:45] Techwolf Lupindo: Its an old bug, 8400 may have been top of the line back then.
- [12:45] Alexa Linden: ok :)
- [12:45] Kona Linden: techworld, 8400...budget card
- [12:46] Alexa Linden: 3 more to go!
- [12:46] Kona Linden: techwofl*
- [12:46] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-5892
- [12:46] Kona Linden: techwolf* lol
- [12:46] Yann Dufaux: well, you can add a possibility to creat an folder to download the snapshot
- [12:46] Squirrel Wood: there's plenty of avatars which use the sculpt texture change to animate liksets
- [12:46] Kona Linden: wish he included pics...
- [12:46] WolfPup Lowenhar: im running an nvida 660gt in hd mode right now
- [12:46] Squirrel Wood: so it works these days
- [12:46] Soft Linden: NMI on this. Old, and the sculpt appearance rules have changed several times in the last year.
- [12:47] WolfPup Lowenhar: 6600gt*
- [12:47] Techwolf Lupindo: smiles "Its ok Kona, i'me poscessed by the typo demon. I couldn't remember what was top of the line back then. Too long ago for me. hehe"
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: agreed soft and yes Squirrel, I have a couple
- [12:47] Soft Linden: Would be good to know if it's still happening.
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:47] Yann Dufaux: i have a 8600gt/1024mb , i can make a test in ultra graphic mode :)
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-2887
- [12:47] Squirrel Wood: Alexa, do you by chance have one of these giant dragons ?
- [12:47] Kona Linden: Yann, solid card
- [12:47] Yann Dufaux: :))
- [12:47] Kona Linden: ooowww.giant dragons
- [12:48] Soft Linden: This sure sounds plausible - I'd send it to QA
- [12:48] Alexa Linden: I don't have one of the dragons :(
- [12:48] Soft Linden: Should be quick to test.
- [12:48] Alexa Linden: I prefer tinys :p
- [12:48] Phillip Vought: I have one of the Seawolf dragons
- [12:48] Phillip Vought: and I've never seen a failure
- [12:48] Squirrel Wood: gave you Seawolf Monsters - Here be Drago, Aggro (186, 98, 81).

- [12:50] Alexa Linden: still here XD
- [12:50] WolfPup Lowenhar: have a couple fo dragons from grendal's
- [12:50] Squirrel Wood: those are tiny in comparison :p
- [12:50] Alexa Linden: deleted then deleted from trash
- [12:50] Phillip Vought: Gotta love an avatar that needs a chat repeater :)
- [12:50] Techwolf Lupindo: The seawolf dragons use this trick to move the head into two different positions. I've seen no problems, but you might want to ask Stickman, he knows more about minor bugs then I do.
- [12:50] Techwolf Lupindo: And has done a lot of workarounds for them.
- [12:51] Alexa Linden: I can't repro 2887
- [12:51] Squirrel Wood: nmi?
- [12:51] Alexa Linden: sure :)
- [12:51] Alexa Linden: still a problem...
- [12:51] Alexa Linden: and the last issue for today is https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12305
- [12:51] Gellan Glenelg: I don't think this has enough info to import, but Dan asked for somewhere to collect more details
- [12:51] Kona Linden: lol
- [12:52] Gellan Glenelg: and why does SL think I have a pentium III... eek!
- [12:52] Soft Linden: Yus. Would highlight the request for more details/examples/corroborating experience/ponies.
- [12:52] Alexa Linden: NMI then :)
- [12:52] Phillip Vought: Yup.. I can confirm 12305 happens with the latest RC
- [12:52] Alexa Linden: and with that, we've finished the whole list!
- [12:53] Phillip Vought: funny tho .. didnt happen with RC8
- [12:53] WolfPup Lowenhar: that is in an old version on a mac so it might be didicule to repro on a windows system
- [12:53] Gellan Glenelg: Can you add screenshot of texture console / system details pls phillip?
- [12:53] WolfPup Lowenhar: talking about the deleting animation
- [12:53] Gellan Glenelg: (if you see it again)
- [12:54] Phillip Vought: Soft, is texture loading possibly related to server side?
- [12:54] Alexa Linden: thanks Phillip, I'll ask if people can repro on a mac
