Getting started in SecondLife
Step 1. Register!
You can't get started without getting a free account, so get one now!
Step 2. Choosing a viewer
LindenLabs has a number of viewers to choose from. Your choice depends on if you wish to have a "stable" release or an experimental one. If you choose the latter, please bear in mind that an experimental viewer may contain bugs which, if you are a new resident, may interfere with your SecondLife experience.
Make your choice of viewer and operating system (Windows, Macintosh or Linux) here.
Step 3. Off you go!
From here it is up to you because it's literally your world and your imagination! Make friends, create content, sell and buy and maybe you even find that special guy or girl you were looking for.
