How to change your appearance/nl
This article is currently being edited (Dit artikel wordt op het moment gewijzigd In Second Life, kunt U bijna alles aan Uw uiterlijk veranderen: hoogte, gewicht, haar, gezicht, huidskleur... maar in plaats van het allemaal uit te leggen, laten we het U zien.
- Open de camera controls, deze kunt U vinden onder VIEW -> Camera Controls
- Klik met rechts op uzelf en selecteer Appearance.
- Soms kan het zijn dat het laden van het scherm wat langer duurt.
- Gebruik de Camera Controls om Uw gezicht te zien.
- Klik op het Shape tabblad om Uw lichaamsvorm te wijzigen.
- Klik op de Body knop. Probeer nu de Height (Hoogte) en Body Thickness (Gezetheid) aan te passen met de schuif balken.
- Klik op de Nose knop en probeer de Nose Size en de Nose Thickness schuif balken te bewegen.
- Probeer ook een aantal andere knoppen en schuif balken. Klik op de knop Randomize om een willekeurig resultaat te krijgen voor Uw lichaamsvorm.
- Als U niet tevreden bent met het resultaat, klikt U op Revert om terug te gaan naar Uw oorspronkelijke uiterlijk.
- Als U tevreden bent met Uw uiterlijk, klikt U op Save As en kiest U een naam voor Uw nieuwe lichaamsvorm.
- In het 'Appearance' wijziging scherm, kunt U de naam vinden van de lichaamsvorm vinden die U aan het wijzigen bent.
U kunt Uw uiterlijk gratis aanpassen, wanneer U wilt en hoe vaak U wilt. Maakt U dus niet druk als niet alles perfect is. U kunt ieder moment verder gaan met wijzigen, als U daar klaar voor bent.
Notitie: U kunt Uw uiterlijk ook wijzigen, door in de menu balk op View -> Appearance te klikken.

Remember also one very important thing about changing your Appearance in Second Life : with your first avatar shape and skin, you can edit as much as you want or like, as there are literally millions of changes you can make using the all the different sliders. But... most new residents will eventually want to buy a new shape, or at least a new skin (or pick up one of the excellent freebies available).
As a new resident you may think that a new skin can be edited as much as your first avatar's skin. Not so! Usually there are minimal or no changes you can make, and if you decide that the new skin (or shape) has changed the familiar 'you' which you spent so long creating, the only thing you can do is to revert to the saved 'you'. Er, you did save it, didn't you? Rule #1 : always save versions of yourself before wearing new shapes or new skins.
The other alternative is to get used to the changed 'you' which the new skin gives you - or have various 'you's' to choose from : a new skin for certain occasions, and your first avatar skin for others.
