The Cool Viewer is based on the official SecondLife viewer source from Linden Lab. It incorporates a lot of bug fixes, patches, the old UI many still prefer ([http://nicholaz-beresford.blogspot.com Nicholaz Viewer]) and new features and improvements which will perhaps never make their way into the "official viewer".
