[12:01] Motor Loon: yeah i know

[12:01] DrFran Babcock: hello, Andrew,

[12:01] Vincent Nacon: correction... ripped from an old car

[12:01] Motor Loon: must be local Kenny... no packetloss here

[12:01] Vincent Nacon: muhaha!

[12:01] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: I've been having a lot of packet loss for the past hour.

[12:01] Andrew Linden: Hello.

[12:01] Motor Loon: yeah man, looks like you went nuts on the whole neightborhood's cars

[12:01] Rex Cronon: hi andrew

[12:01] Rex Cronon: hi everybody

[12:02] Kennylex Luckless: Well, it is better now, lasy day I had 330 % packet loss .

[12:02] Yuzuru Jewell: Hi Rex.

[12:02] Jonathan Yap: How can you have > 100% packet loss?!?

[12:02] Ares Kingmaker: Hi Rex

[12:02] Motor Loon: haha

[12:02] Vincent Nacon: must be some crazy neighborhood that they all have same bucket seat with hole on the bottom

[12:02] Rex Cronon: hi yuzuru, ares

[12:02] Andrew Linden: Well, I'm back from vacation and have been out of touch, so I don't have any news.

[12:02] Andrew Linden: I'll let Simon lead the ceremonies.

[12:03] Motor Loon: what was yesterday... memorial day or something?

[12:03] DrFran Babcock: YESH

[12:03] Jonathan Yap: yes

[12:03] Kennylex Luckless: I has try to fix, I has test internet speeds to LosAnlgles and has 7 to 9 Mbs

[12:03] Motor Loon: wireless kenny?

[12:03] Simon Linden: Well, let's see ... the main channel got a new version of the server today, one with "Phase 1" of the region crossing code

[12:04] Motor Loon: ey baker

[12:04] Kennylex Luckless: Yes, but same problem with Wire

[12:04] Simon Linden: We don't expect any performance boost, but it's the background work for better stuff

[12:04] Vincent Nacon: you're late, Baker! cut his pay!

[12:04] Motor Loon: nah baker needs a raise

[12:04] Vincent Nacon: muhaha!

[12:04] Motor Loon: and an offer to run for president

[12:04] Kennylex Luckless: I has tested my WiFi and I has no delays.

[12:04] Simon Linden: There should be 3 new RCs tomorrow

[12:05] Simon Linden: Details are here: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Second-Life-Server/Deploys-for-the-week-of-2012-05-28/td-p/1552099

[12:05] Simon Linden: except the RCs don't have much detail

[12:05] Rex Cronon: wireless with no delays? not even 3-5ms?

[12:05] Kennylex Luckless: 2ms

[12:06] Motor Loon: your test was wrong, wireless sucks no matter what

[12:06] Qie Niangao: quantum wireless

[12:06] Simon Linden: That's all I have for news

[12:06] Motor Loon: TBD?

[12:06] Kennylex Luckless: I has tested with wire, I get same problems

[12:06] Motor Loon: you dont know yet what you'll put on those RCs?

[12:07] Vincent Nacon: any news Andrew or Baker?

[12:07] Kennylex Luckless: I has 10/10 Mbps TP/Opto connection

[12:08] Noa Arrowmint: hello everyone

[12:08] Rex Cronon: hi

[12:08] Kennylex Luckless: Hia

[12:08] Andrew Linden: I don't have any news, except that I've started to work on PATHBUG-136

[12:08] Motor Loon kicks the jira helper

[12:08] Rex Cronon: i am curious kennylex, what r your wireless problems exactly?

[12:08] Andrew Linden: which is about llSetRot() being broken... sometimes, on the "Second Life RC PF" channel.

[12:09] Andrew Linden: Kennylex is experincing lots of packet loss

[12:10] Andrew Linden: he claims > 100% packetloss, which is mystifying.

[12:10] Motor Loon: oh yeah... the "really rally BAD bug"

[12:10] TankMaster Finesmith: any news when we will get a physics stub, andrew?

[12:10] Vincent Nacon: >100%? he wouidn't be here if that was true

[12:10] Rex Cronon: there is a burst mode on some wireless routers

[12:10] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: The viewer's packet loss stat is inaccurate.

[12:10] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: It's often I see it say '140%' or something.

[12:10] Andrew Linden: ah that would explain it

[12:10] Rex Cronon: sadly, there r also people that like to hack into your wireless:(

[12:11] TankMaster Finesmith: koli, thats because the same packet gets lost multible times

[12:11] Motor Loon: physics stub? tank?

[12:11] Rex Cronon: try wirelessN

[12:12] TankMaster Finesmith: yes, motor, without it, you have to use the havoc lib to compile anything pathfinding

[12:12] Motor Loon: aah

[12:12] TankMaster Finesmith: which on LL has access to curently

[12:12] Motor Loon: bad for TPV's

[12:12] Motor Loon: yeah

[12:12] TankMaster Finesmith: only*

[12:12] Andrew Linden: TankMaster, I don't have any update on that physics stub lib.

[12:12] Andrew Linden: I'll have to ask Falcon about it. I'll try to do that later today.

[12:13] TankMaster Finesmith: ok thx

[12:13] Motor Loon: what are you working on mr. president? I mean baker...

[12:13] Kennylex Luckless: I has made a tracerout and has good pings untill US and some time I get Time Outs at Lindens servers.

[12:15] Baker Linden: I'm not sure. The fix for VWR-14674 will be committed today

[12:15] JIRA-helper: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-14674

[#VWR-14674] Object Return Function of Region/Estate Menu does not work

[12:15] Motor Loon: yay!

[12:15] Baker Linden: and I may see if that fixes the issue of being unable to broadcast messages estate wide too

[12:15] Baker Linden: if not, I'll fix that one up quick and get that in as well

[12:15] Motor Loon: excellent

[12:15] Baker Linden: after that, I'm sort of open to suggestions

[12:16] Motor Loon: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-4632

[12:16] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-4632] People getting past Estate and Land bans

[12:16] Motor Loon: please

[12:16] Jonathan Yap: Baker, have you worked through the suggestions we gave you about 2 weeks ago?

[12:16] Rex Cronon: i have a "small" suggestion. can u make a llGiveInvite(key uuid) that gives a group invite to a user:)

[12:16] Baker Linden: Probably not. I have the logs, and I'm picking and choosing. Some of them delve into systems I'm not yet comfortable with. Espeically since I'd probably break more things than I would fix

[12:17] Baker Linden: I'll keep going through the list -- I've bookmarked most of them, so I can just keep going on those.

[12:17] Qie Niangao: I wonder, will any of the RCs include the fix for SVC-7902 ? Or where that is now? (I thought I understood Kelly had it fixed a while back)

[12:17] JIRA-helper: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-7902

[#SVC-7902] Problem of not being able to rez on my land continues

[12:17] Motor Loon: so far so good

[12:18] Simon Linden: No, Qie, that's not going out this tomorrow -- probably next week

[12:18] Qie Niangao: okay, thanks.

[12:18] Motor Loon: ..atleast it's comming

[12:19] Jonathan Yap: Baker, there is the issues about name searches, as a first pass you could deal with storm-1840

[12:19] JIRA-helper: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/STORM-1840

[#STORM-1840] Searching legacy names in the "Choose Resident" floater with a period returns no result

[12:19] Jonathan Yap: Also make the search case-insensitive

[12:19] Baker Linden: SVC-7129 is one I have marked on my to-do list, though I think it's just how things are set by the server. The timeout could be extended past one hour (or whatever it's set to), but it would still have a time-limit

[12:19] JIRA-helper: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-7129

[#SVC-7129] Attachments to group notices malfunction after some time

[12:20] Baker Linden: SVC-4968 -- I'll have to figure out what the cause of this is, but I think some solutions to fix this (and other large-group oriented bugs) would simply be to have the viewer paginate the results, only loading in 100 at a time (for example -- the number could be much higher)

[12:20] JIRA-helper: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-4968

[#SVC-4968] Group won't load - too many members

[12:20] Jonathan Yap: Baker, for svc-7129 if one goes into the group notices floater you almost always get the notice that way, it is only when using the stored toasts that the troubles occur (due to caching some uuid token?)

[12:21] Motor Loon: yeah I've seen that happen too

[12:21] Baker Linden: it happens immediately as well?

[12:21] Baker Linden: or is it after a certain period of time

[12:22] Motor Loon: after some time

[12:22] Jonathan Yap: I looked into that group notices thing -- as much as I could tell from the viewer side it is a stale session ID no longer working

[12:22] Motor Loon: sounds likely

[12:22] Baker Linden: from what it seems, after about an hour, the server invalidates it

[12:22] Jonathan Yap: the viewer now stores old notices in a file unless you have Xed them away

[12:22] Baker Linden: ahh

[12:23] Jonathan Yap: so that issue is even more noticeable than in V1 days, when notices would be shown once after logging on

[12:23] Baker Linden: ok

[12:23] TankMaster Finesmith: SVC-7907 is something a lot of TPVs would like to see fixed

[12:23] JIRA-helper: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-7907

[#SVC-7907] "Restore to last position" TPV feature appears broken if you dont have rez rights at <0,0,0> on the region

[12:23] Rex Cronon: i always get the notices to my email

[12:24] Motor Loon: 7907 is annoying

[12:24] Andrew Linden: Hrm... SVC-7907 looks like an easy thing to fix Baker.

[12:24] Baker Linden: sound slike it

[12:24] Baker Linden: yeah, it does

[12:24] Jonathan Yap: There also is a viwer UI issue -- you can only click on a notice's attachment link once, then it is invalidated, but the UI does a bad job of indicating that you have only 1 click

[12:25] Simon Linden: For 7907, is it actually trying to rez at 0,0,0 ?

[12:26] TankMaster Finesmith: i think so, then it moves to whever it was last positioned, but the rezzing at 0,0,0 is not somehting the viewer is doing

[12:26] Theresa Tennyson: I think it's just using 0,0,0 as sort of a waypoint.

[12:26] Andrew Linden: Simon, it is probably using a local position when checking parcel perms rather than the position in the region-frame.

[12:26] TankMaster Finesmith: We're jsut sending a message to rez. Everything else is done on the Region.

[12:27] Baker Linden: STORM-1840 doesn't seem too bad either. And I've already been pretty annoyed at that as well.

[12:27] Rex Cronon: how can the lindens fix a problem with a tpv if they aren't familiar witht the code?

[12:27] Simon Linden: Well, if it's actually trying to rez there, it's being blocked legitimately. If it's 0,0,0 because of some other reason, like it hasn't figured the proper spot, then it seems like that should be fixed

[12:28] TankMaster Finesmith: SVC-7902 is another issue thats affecting a lot of people

[12:28] Theresa Tennyson: Rex, it uses old Linden Lab code that was hidden. TPV's just re-activated.

[12:28] Andrew Linden: oh I see... SVC-7907 is supposedly a TPV feature.

[12:28] Qie Niangao: for a while, Viewer 2 had the restore-to-last-position option. I never quite knew why it got abandoned.

[12:28] Jonathan Yap: Baker, there are 2 parts to Storm-1840, follow the related link to the other VWR issue; the server should return identical (and complete) results for when Display Names are on and when they are off

[12:29] Baker Linden: Thanks Jonathan, will do. :)

[12:29] Jonathan Yap: Unfortunately that related VWR issue is a bit of a muddle; you might have to do some testing to see how the results differ

[12:30] Baker Linden: yeah

[12:30] Meeter: Timecheck : User Group is half over

[12:32] Baker Linden: Hopefully the code for SVC-7907 will still be in the codebase, even if it's no longer supported

[12:32] Baker Linden: but if it exists in the server code, I'll find it

[12:32] Motor Loon: certainly is a USEFUL feature... should get back in official viewer

[12:33] DrFran Babcock: Baker is such a nice addition :-)

[12:33] Theresa Tennyson: My understanding is TPV's just edited out a comment to bring it back - it's in the viewer code.

[12:33] Theresa Tennyson: It was originally put in during the move to Zindra.

[12:34] Baker Linden: Aw shucks, DrFran :)

[12:34] Baker Linden: That makes my job much easier, Theresa

[12:35] Theresa Tennyson: There's a pretty good description of what happened in the JIRA.

[12:35] Simon Linden: I wonder why it was shut off

[12:35] TankMaster Finesmith: on a different note, logins to a mesh viewer has now reached about 91%

[12:35] Motor Loon: yaay

[12:37] Theresa Tennyson: But the 8% remaining are disproportionately vocal.

[12:37] Theresa Tennyson: Ooops, 9%

[12:37] Rex Cronon: if u want to continue selling on MP u need to use the mesh viewer

[12:38] Motor Loon: unless they "backport" that too rex

[12:38] Qie Niangao: fortunately, one can still use a mesh viewer even if you wouldn't touch Marketplace with a ten foot pole.

[12:39] TankMaster Finesmith: im not aware of any non mesh capible viewer thats backported direct delivery

[12:39] Motor Loon: lol

[12:39] Rex Cronon: is it viral:)

[12:39] Andrew Linden: Yeah Baker, I confirm that the "RezRestoreToWorld" message is handled by the server, which probably relates to the SVC-7907 bug

[12:39] Motor Loon: but you probably could tank... if enough people screamed for it

[12:39] Motor Loon: not that I hope it'll be done

[12:40] Andrew Linden: so not really a TPV feature, but one that is supposed to be supported server-side, and the official viewer never picked it up, or else commented it out.

[12:40] Motor Loon: cool

[12:40] Baker Linden: yeah, it's also only commented out in the viewer xml code (as per the jira comments)

[12:40] Andrew Linden: I wonder how it is actually supposed to work...

[12:41] TankMaster Finesmith: sounds like something usefull LL could easly uncomment and puck up another useful feature

[12:41] TankMaster Finesmith: rt click the object in inventory and select "restore to last position"

[12:41] Andrew Linden: you should be able to "restor to old position" when rezzing into the region where it was taken

[12:41] Rex Cronon: maybe is commentedout because is dangerous?

[12:41] TankMaster Finesmith: then itll appear on the region where it was taken/returned from

[12:41] Andrew Linden: but if the region is different then it would probably not rez where you wanted it to

[12:42] Theresa Tennyson: Do things in your inventory know what region they used to be on?

[12:42] Motor Loon: Its not dangerous... but in theory can be problematic - if you try to restore to last position in another region that what it was in - it may end up on the wrong place

[12:42] Andrew Linden: No Theresa, not at the database level (where your inventory information lives)

[12:42] Baker Linden: looks like the reason it was taken out was that there were problems with inventory loss

[12:42] Motor Loon: would be nice if it would also remember what region it was in - and atleast TOLD you, this is the wrong region - sure you want to rez out a x,y,z

[12:42] Andrew Linden: but maybe at the asset-level

[12:42] TankMaster Finesmith: apparently restor to last position works if you have rez rughts at 0,0,0, but doesnt if you dont

[12:43] Rex Cronon: if u were part of a group and it was rezed on that groups land, and now u aren't it shouldn't be able to be restored. right?

[12:43] Andrew Linden: that is, the region where it was taken may be stored in the asset that was created when it was taken.

[12:43] TankMaster Finesmith: yes, the last position is stored in the asset

[12:43] Simon Linden: That's correct, Rex - it should still follow all the permissions checks

[12:43] Motor Loon: but is there any reason why it should rez at 0,0,0 ?

[12:44] Andrew Linden: no, the <0,0,0> check and failure is a bug

[12:44] Motor Loon: ok

[12:44] Motor Loon: well, thats a good thing then

[12:44] Motor Loon: easy solved

[12:44] Baker Linden: it might be a bit more involved than just uncommenting it, but I can try to look at it. There are other bugs that seem to be a bit easier to fix, so I'll probably hit those first, then take a poke at anything where I have to poke around the viewer code

[12:44] DrFran Babcock: hello, Kelly

[12:44] Motor Loon: ey sparklepony

[12:44] Jonathan Yap: Is that somewhat related to upload avatars showing up at 0,0,0?

[12:45] Qie Niangao: Now that I think about it, I wonder how that was useful for the Zindra move. It would surely be rezzing into a different region--that would have been the whole point. But somehow the same position would still be useful? I guess, if full sim, terraformed the same.

[12:45] Theresa Tennyson: Does the fix for 7902 also correct that no-copy objects are disappearing when they fail to rezz instead of going to lost and found?

[12:45] Simon Linden: It looks like there are some basic usability problems wiht that feature - like mkaing it easy to loose stuff in-world

[12:45] Motor Loon: oh yeah... thats a big no-no

[12:45] TankMaster Finesmith: 0,0,0 seems to be the dumping ground for failed rezzes :P

[12:45] Simon Linden: I don't think that's related, Theresa

[12:45] TankMaster Finesmith: used to be common to find a lot of random stuff there

[12:45] Motor Loon: indeed

[12:46] Vincent Nacon: and avatars

[12:46] Motor Loon: sometimes even things failing a simcrossing ends up there

[12:46] Baker Linden: Probably not, Theresa. But I also have no clue what I'm talking about.

[12:46] Theresa Tennyson: The fact that you admitted that makes me just like you more.

[12:46] Kelly Linden: There is a related fix to 7902 for behavior of no-copy items in that fail to rez case. It is in the same place as the fix for 7902 as far as I'm aware.

[12:46] Baker Linden: I'd assume it may have something to do with it, but I don't think directly fixing 7902 would fix that issue

[12:47] Latif Khalifa: I have a question regarding object return. Just had a case where object rezzed 100 prims on a parcel that had 50 free. I would expect that the rez call fails. Instead I got a random set of other objects returned. Why is that happening?

[12:47] Kelly Linden: Latif: I think it depends on a lot more details than what you have given. If you have a solid repro we would definitely be interested in a jira on it.

[12:48] Rex Cronon: it delinked the 100 prims and returned u 50 of them?

[12:48] Andrew Linden: Latif, that sounds like a bug. Yes, I'd expect the rez to fail if it were to overload the parcel.

[12:48] Latif Khalifa: no it renurned 6 random objects from the parcel

[12:48] Latif Khalifa: and rezzed the new one

[12:48] Baker Linden: did those random objects have ~50 prims total?

[12:48] Jonathan Yap: So it returned enough to make space for the new object?

[12:48] Latif Khalifa: Kelly, short of destroying my build I don't know how to try to reproduce

[12:49] Motor Loon: I think thats per the new return rules aint it?

[12:49] Latif Khalifa: Baker, yes

[12:49] Latif Khalifa: some of them have been on this parcel for years

[12:49] Kelly Linden: I'm with andrew. Sounds like a bug.

[12:49] Jonathan Yap: And the returned objects were not found in your inventory?

[12:50] Andrew Linden: No Motor. We try to prevent operations from pushing parcels over the limit. If somehow a parcel gets over, then we try to return the object that pushed it over.

[12:50] Qie Niangao: If someone else can do it, it's a bug. If *I* can do it, it would be a feature. :p

[12:50] Motor Loon: who owned the 6 random objects?

[12:50] Baker Linden: it sounds like what happened is it made space for the new object, and it did that by returning some other objects. I'd posit that those were some of the first objects in the land, and it probably returned the first X objects in your land until 50 prims were returned

[12:50] Latif Khalifa: yes

[12:50] Latif Khalifa: that sounds like a wrong behaviour to em

[12:50] Latif Khalifa: me*

[12:50] Baker Linden: yeah, it does to me too

[12:50] Motor Loon: but I seem to remember a whole ruleset was made for that Andrew

[12:50] Jonathan Yap: So if I rezz 1,000 prims here older things will start to disappear?

[12:50] Motor Loon: like some objects would have higher priority over whats already on the land

[12:51] Baker Linden: it should fail in that case, so you don't accidentally wipe out a bunch of stuff

[12:51] Andrew Linden: Well, the code used to prefer the parcel owner's objects over that of friends or affiliated group

[12:51] Motor Loon: excactly

[12:51] Motor Loon: that was not kept with the changes?

[12:51] Andrew Linden: and it still does if someone goes over their limit by abandoning/selling a parcel on the region that was used to make a large build possible on another parcel.

[12:51] Kelly Linden: Yeah, it should block the return. But there are a lot of edge cases. Was the new object mesh, or use new prim-equiv accounting? Was it a coalesced object, or a single linked set? Were any of the objects that were returned 'new' accounting, and/or dynamic (modigying their shape or size?)

[12:51] Kelly Linden: sorry, I mean should block the rez.

[12:52] Latif Khalifa: Andrew, they are all my object. But I expect when my object tries to rez it would fail, instead of returning random other stuff.

[12:52] Theresa Tennyson: I had a neighbor who accidentally rezzed four copies of a big house on a sim that was already pretty full. It was nasty - other people lost random objects all over that corner of the sim.

[12:52] Kelly Linden: So do we latif. I don't think anyone is arguing that point. But I do think we need more details.

[12:52] Latif Khalifa: Theresa, this is waht happened here

[12:52] Andrew Linden: however, when it comes to adding a new object, to changing an object's LandImpact value, we're supposed to return the last thing that pushed it over.

[12:53] Motor Loon: yeah makes more sense

[12:53] Latif Khalifa: Kelly, what sort of details?

[12:53] Rex Cronon: i don't think it should matter what type of object is being rezzed. existing objects shouldn't be returned

[12:53] Latif Khalifa: It happened in region BDSM, like half an hour ago. 12:28 to be precise

[12:53] Vincent Nacon: quite right, Rex

[12:54] Kelly Linden: What I asked, along with region name and time of incident so we can look in the logs. Meshyness and dynamicness of all the involved objects.

[12:54] Vincent Nacon: data data data!

[12:54] Kelly Linden: and what exactly you rezzed - a coalesced object? Any thing interesting about the rez itself?

[12:54] Latif Khalifa: physics object, (a vehicle), no meshes involved, region BDSM, 12:28

[12:55] Theresa Tennyson: How far back do the logs go?

[12:55] Kelly Linden: none of the returned items were meshes either?

[12:55] Kelly Linden: About a week.

[12:55] Latif Khalifa: i don't think they are any meshes at all on my sim

[12:55] Latif Khalifa: none of the involved objects are

[12:55] Motor Loon: shame on you!

[12:55] Motor Loon: lol

[12:55] Andrew Linden: Right, there is a possibility of a race condition where there was enough parcel resources to rez the object when it was checked, and then some other objects changed their LandImpact value later, during the same frame, which pushed the parcel over.

[12:55] Latif Khalifa: neither the rezzed or returned ones

[12:55] Meeter: Timecheck : User Group is almost over

[12:55] Kelly Linden: it was a rez not a region cross?

[12:56] Andrew Linden: Meshy objects are more likely to actually change their LandImpact value, when changing scale for example.

[12:56] Latif Khalifa: it was a rez

[12:56] Kelly Linden: and I assume not across region border?

[12:56] Latif Khalifa: no meshes involved

[12:56] Latif Khalifa: no it's an estate on a lonely island

[12:56] Latif Khalifa: no neighbours

[12:56] Kelly Linden: k

[12:56] Rex Cronon: do u have any temp rezzers latif?

[12:56] Andrew Linden: temp objects shouldn't be returned

[12:57] Latif Khalifa: this was a rez of a temp object actually

[12:57] Andrew Linden: Latif, were you the owner who rezzed? Was the person who rezzed an Estate Manager for that region?

[12:57] Motor Loon: ooh

[12:57] Motor Loon: thats even worse

[12:57] Latif Khalifa: let me check

[12:57] Latif Khalifa: nope, reguliar object

[12:57] Latif Khalifa: not temp

[12:58] Motor Loon: ok

[12:58] Theresa Tennyson: Was it rezzed from an object on the ground or dragged out of inventory?

[12:58] Latif Khalifa: Andrew, it was rezzed by a script from an object that is owned by me. Parcel is owned by a group that I am owner off

[12:58] Latif Khalifa: rezzed from an object

[12:59] Qie Niangao: oh hmm. was the *region* close to 15K prims already?

[12:59] Latif Khalifa: yes

[12:59] Kelly Linden: Andrew: if you rez w/ the edit floater open, is there a race condition on the selection of the object that could cause a weird treatment of the category of the rezzed object (to treat it as 'selected', which we don't return)?

[12:59] Latif Khalifa: region only had a few prims left

[12:59] Andrew Linden: Yes, selection state of the objects matter.

[12:59] Rex Cronon: u guys should have a form that everybody has to fill in:)

[13:00] Andrew Linden: It won't return stuff while you have them selected, but will return when you deselect.

[13:00] Motor Loon: is going over "region limit" handled differently than going over "parcel limits" ?

[13:00] Andrew Linden: However, the scripted rez should have checked the cost at rez-time, I think.

[13:00] Andrew Linden: I wonder if selection of other objects would throw that off.

[13:00] Andrew Linden: I'd have to look at the code, or test it.

[13:00] Meeter: Thank you for coming to the Server User Group

[13:00] Latif Khalifa: This is auto-rezzed cart. So there is a rezzer that queries if the cart is nearby, If not, rezz a new one. The cart does llDie() when the customer who tries demo unsits from it

[13:00] Qie Niangao: Motor, that's what I was wondering... that, and what happens if the temp/selected/vehicle pool already pushes some higher total limit.

[13:01] Jonathan Yap: Latif, did you have anything selected?

[13:01] Theresa Tennyson: Was there a delay in rezzing that made the person rezzing click more than once?

[13:01] Latif Khalifa: i was not on the region at all

[13:01] Andrew Linden: Oh right, sitting on an object matters too.

[13:01] Motor Loon: quite the complex mess aint it haha

[13:01] Andrew Linden: Yeah.

[13:02] TankMaster Finesmith: i see baker has his work cut out for him

[13:02] Motor Loon: sounds like we need to have some testcases made

[13:02] Motor Loon: to pinpoint the problem

[13:02] Latif Khalifa: i'm not testing this on my region :P

[13:02] Motor Loon: arh come on latif ;-.)

[13:02] Motor Loon: you can always rebuild

[13:02] Motor Loon: haha

[13:02] Latif Khalifa: i just had to figure out where the heck these 6 objects sim returned to me came from

[13:02] Theresa Tennyson: The sim I was on was so badly trashed that they needed to roll it back.

[13:03] Motor Loon: ...if only you had a "restore to last position"

[13:03] Motor Loon: hah

[13:03] Latif Khalifa: not officially supported

[13:03] Motor Loon: yeah dream on

[13:03] Andrew Linden: One more question Latif... is the region using a "parcel bonus factor"?

[13:03] Latif Khalifa: i don't think so

[13:03] Motor Loon: ooh yeah another interesting factor

[13:04] Andrew Linden: ok

[13:04] Rex Cronon: u can put a script in it that set description = 2 last pos:)

[13:04] Latif Khalifa: i'm not renting out parcels, all the regions parcel belong to me (or my groups)

[13:05] Andrew Linden: right, you only need the "parcel bonus factor" if you want to use all 15k prims, but set asside some parcels as "open space" where you promis to not build much on.

[13:05] Motor Loon: but it had more than one parcel?

[13:05] Motor Loon: has

[13:05] Kelly Linden: oh, group ownership issues too?

[13:05] Latif Khalifa: yeah, there are 5-6 parcels, group owned

[13:05] Latif Khalifa: objects got returned from 2 different parcels

[13:05] Latif Khalifa: at random it seems

[13:05] Kelly Linden: meetings been over a while! sorry I was so late. Have a good week all.

[13:06] Motor Loon: sounds like this one will need alot more digging

[13:06] Latif Khalifa: you too kelly

[13:06] Rex Cronon: tc kelly

[13:06] TankMaster Finesmith: tc kelly

[13:06] Simon Linden: I have to go as well - thanks everyone for coming today

[13:06] Motor Loon: Good meeting guys

[13:06] TankMaster Finesmith: thx for your time, simon

[13:06] Theresa Tennyson: Thanks for having us!

[13:06] Rex Cronon: tc simon

[13:06] Yuzuru Jewell: See you

[13:06] TankMaster Finesmith: aheva good week, baker, andrew

[13:06] Baker Linden: You as well

[13:07] Jonathan Yap: latif, have you turned off your cart rezzer for now?

[13:07] Motor Loon: and send me a link to you this sitting arrangement when you get it for sale Vince

[13:07] Latif Khalifa: Jonathan, I deleted some stuff so it's not that close to the limit

[13:07] Andrew Linden: ok thanks for coming everyone

[13:07] Rex Cronon: tc andrew

[13:08] Rex Cronon: ok. i g2g. tc everybody and have a nice day:)

[13:08] Latif Khalifa: i think i found the repro for "objects forgets it has debit permission" after 2 years lol

[13:08] Vincent Nacon: well take care all

[13:08] Latif Khalifa: i mean i was trying to find a repro case for a long time
