Music is played on your land in SL using a URL (web address) which you set up in your About Land options. You can hook up to an existing stream on the web, or create your own if you have the resources.

Come faccio ad impostare la musica per la mia land?
- Dal Menù, seleziona World/About
- Clicca sulla scheda Media
- Enter the URL to the music stream Scrivi l'URL dello stream
- Clicca il controllo della musica off e on per aggiornare le impostazioni. Il controllo è posizionato in basso al centro del tuo schermo.
Posso fare uno stream nella land dei miei amici?
No, devi avere il permesso dalla land per modificare le sue impostazioni. Dovrai dare a loro gli attributi dello stream per farlo suonare. Se sei un agente del gruppo, e il gruppo è proprietario della land, allora hai la possibilità di farlo.
Come faccio a suonare la mia propria musica?
Questo è un pochino più complicato. Chiunque può riprodurre musica in streaming attraverso un programma emittente, tuttavia avrete bisogno di un server di streaming per farlo.
Posso usare un microfono e parlare sulla musica?
Si! Se si imposta il tuo sistema operativo per la registrazione (WinXP), la maggior parte dei streaming audio clients "ascolteranno" tutto ciò che la scheda audio riprodurrà, sia il tuo lettore multimediale, il vostro microfono o strumento musicale.
Non riesco a sentire niente, si è rotta la mia musica?
- Make sure there is a Music control panel at the bottom, center of your screen. If not, go to Edit/Preferences, select the Audio tab, and make sure Play Streaming Music when Available is checked.
- On the Music control panel, click Stop and then Play to refresh the settings.
- If you still don't get music, double-check the URL you entered in the About Land box. Be sure the address does not have a small space in front of it. This keeps it from playing and has been a common problem. If there is a space, remove it.
- If you still don't get music, the stream may not be valid. Try testing the stream in WinAmp to be sure that it does work.
- Check your speakers. Are they plugged in, turned on, volume turned up?
- If music and speakers test out, leave the parcel and come back.
- Still no music? Try relogging.
- If relogging didn't help, it could be a bandwidth issue, or a local problem on your computer. Time to file a bug report.
