I've just downloaded SL yesterday, was getting quite annoyed with the freezing and found this page. I'm not happy to have to do a manual workaround each time I want to log in, so it looks like I'll be giving SL a pass until this is sorted.

Has anyone from Linden Labs been in contact with Apple to resolve this? It seems more like you've taken a sit back and wait for an update approach, rather than proactively trying to get it fixed.

With me it's not so much a case of freezing as a memory leak locking up the whole computer. This is a known error & has been for ages - Apple & Nvidia need to sort it out as it's to do with the Nvidia OpenGL drivers rather than SL, say LL, BUT so far SL's the only app I have that shows this leak. --Sciamachy 06:38, 9 February 2008 (PST)

I have been using this workaround with wonderful results until I got Leopard. I see that there is a new version of Xcode for Leopard. Will downloading the new Xcode and using the latest release of OpenGL Profiler from that download work? Leopard does not even recognize the OpenGL Profiler that I currently have on my machine...just wondering. Thanks. **Fiona Szondi, 22:34, 11 May 2008**
