Please enter comments and suggestions on this viewer skin below or in the https://blogs.secondlife.com/message/148893 thread - thank you :)

I will try and get back to you within a couple of days.

A terrific idea! My only hope is that once you've sorted out bugs and features, that you'll consider a light version of the skin, something in the same tonal range as the old Silver skin in 1.2x. My understanding is that to manage that, you'll also have to change various textures, but maybe someone (with more graphical skill than I) could help with that.... Thanks again for the hard work, though! Ran Garrigus 09:49, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Where can I report bugs to for this? It's fantastic but there's a few things that need ironed out.

1) The back button from Object Profile is unclickable. Once I open an object profile in the sidebar, it's there until I relogin. :/ 2) For some reason, it's been hardlocking my system, but Viewer2 in general has been causing video driver panics so it's likely more of a software bug than a skin bug.

Great work! Cinder Roxley 3:25, 14 April, 2010 (MDT)

I'd like the second the request for a dark-on-light tone, if that is possible. I've used the Silver skin on 1.2x forever and have a hard time with the light-on-dark of Viewer 2. Maybe LL will offer it, but if a future version of Starlight got there first, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks for Starlight as it is though - it's made my transition to 2.0 much smoother!

You may want to look into this JIRA entry. [1]. At least for me, the bug seemed to be related to your skin. Great job btw. :)

A black on white skin is in a quite advanced stage of development by someone else. Hitomi Tiponi 19:02, 27 April 2010 (UTC)

Darien does seem to have found a strange oddity - particularly as I never modded that part of the interface! Will see what exactly it seems to be doing. Hitomi Tiponi 18:26, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

The solution is to overwrite Starlight's panel_group_general.xml file and replace it with the one in Viewer 2.0.1. The problem arose because I was still using the 2.0 version of this file and it had changed. This has been incorporated in version 2.0.7. Will amend the JIRA. Starlight skin 2.1.7 shows an empty window in the "Groups > Roles" panel (sidebar) with Viewer 2.1.1.208043 . I fixed this with copy the file "panel_group_roles.xml" from the original default folder to the corresponding folder of Starlight skin. Maybe you can keep this in mind for your next Starlight version. Thanks for your great work!

Noticed a clothing bug

I put a jacket on, decided I wanted to take it off. Tried two different ways (right click on avatar, click take off, clothing, jacket; also in sidebar, navigated to the jacket, right clicked, clicked take off). Neither worked. Even waited a while in case there was some lag, but nothing happened. Interestingly, when I put on another item on the jacket layer (which replaced the original jacket), then trie to take it off, that jacket came off. Fluke? Not sure.

I had no difficulty detaching a clothing attachment (left and right sleeves for shirt), so apparently that is fine.
