My home is [http://slurl.com/secondlife/Woodsong/160/101/22 Woodsong], my sim. It's a natural place with woods and meadows and a lake, caves and mountains. I love it more than anywhere I have lived in all my time in SL. I designed and terraformed it myself.

My home is [http://slurl.com/secondlife/Ambiance%20Peaks%20South/95/242/21 Nan-tathren], in the beautiful Ambiance estate, a group of sims created by the very talented designer Ty Evans.  It is a mountainous region, with waterways running through it, great for sailing.  There are many waterfalls and trees. I think it is the prettiest residential area in SL.

My home is open to anyone who would like to come and explore. The doors are all phantom so feel free to walk right in.  Be sure to feed the ducks, and don't forget to take the teleport on the front deck up to the Treehouse in the sky, and see all my critters.  I love animals, as you can tell from my pictures, and I have a large menagerie thanks to the talented creators at Zooby, Lolo, Animania, and Second Wildlife.

My home is open to anyone who would like to come and explore. The doors are all unlocked so feel free to walk right in.  See if you can find the secret mushroom cave :)  There is canoeing and 7 Seas fishing.  You will also find 'Yarnation', a hangout for knitters, spinners, and crocheters.  Anyone is welcome!

Of course I love to shop, and I spend way too much time and money engaging in my 'favourite sport'. (*grins*) I also spend a lot of time at live music concerts. My current favourite artists are Shantu Selene, Noma Falto, and kelvinblue Oh.

I love my work as a Volunteer Mentor with the Resident Help Network, and I am very proud to be a member of the team.  They are all remarkable people who give their time, unpaid, to help new SL residents.  Of course we have a lot of fun too, and great parties :) My volunteering gives me the chance to meet people and make friends from many different cultures and backgrounds, from all over the world.  It's just one of the many ways that SL has broadened my horizons.

== My Philosophy ==

I believe that human relationships are the most important thing in both SL and RL.  I love to help people, and I am never too busy to talk, whether it be with a friend, newbie, or anyone who needs help or just wants to chat.  Being nice, friendly, and slow to anger are the best ways to make our SL experience a good one.  The best thing we can do for someone is to ''listen'' to them and show that we are genuinely interested in them.  In SL even more than in RL, we have the opportunity to meet and learn from such a diversity of people from different countries, cultures, religions, and interests.  Being open to new experiences and new friends is a wonderful way to learn and broaden our horizons, and the most valuable thing we can get out of SL is to increase our knowledge of the real world through the people we meet in the virtual world.

I really believe that Second Life is the world of the future.  The possibilities are limitless, as my fellow residents prove every day :) I can't wait to see what's coming in the years ahead!
