I love my work as a Volunteer Mentor with the Resident Help Network, and I am very proud to be a member of the team. They are all remarkable people who give their time, unpaid, to help new SL residents. Of course we have a lot of fun too, and great parties :) My volunteering gives me the chance to meet people and make friends from many different cultures and backgrounds, from all over the world. It's just one of the many ways that SL has broadened my horizons. | |||

I believe that human relationships are the most important thing in both SL and RL. I love to help people, and I am never too busy to talk, whether it be with a friend, newbie, or anyone who needs help or just wants to chat. Being nice, friendly, and slow to anger are the best ways to make our SL experience a good one. The best thing we can do for someone is to ''listen'' to them and show that we are genuinely interested in them. In SL even more than in RL, we have the opportunity to meet and learn from such a diversity of people from different countries, cultures, religions, and interests. Being open to new experiences and new friends is a wonderful way to learn and broaden our horizons, and the most valuable thing we can get out of SL is to increase our knowledge of the real world through the people we meet in the virtual world. | |||

Where I Live
