About Me
Hi, my name is Thely Anansi. I am a Second Life Mentor. My timezone is EST and I am mostly in SL during the daytime. I speak fluent English and conversational Greek as well as some very basic French, Russian, German, Japanese, and Spanish.
I have advanced skills in building, and moderate skills in scripting as well as clothing and texture creation. I love to meet new people and offer help and advice whenever needed.
Where I Live
My home is Nan-tathren, in the beautiful Ambiance estate, a group of sims created by the very talented designer Ty Evans. It is a mountainous region, with waterways running through it, great for sailing. There are many waterfalls and trees. I think it is the prettiest residential area in SL.

What I Do
I love to build things! My profession is furniture design, and I have two shops at the moment:
Earthsong Design where I sell furniture and home accessories inspired by nature.
Siren Song where I sell nautical-themed products.
I also build custom homes. Examples can be seen at my home in Ambiance and also the Beach House at Celtic Sands. Please IM me in-world if you would like to discuss a building project.
What I Do For Fun
I have been a resident of SL since July, 2004 and I continue to find it a remarkable and fascinating experience every day. The amazing talent and creativity of the SL community makes this a unique and wonderful world. One of my favourite things to do is explore and visit all the many cool places that my fellow residents have made.
Of course I love to shop, and I spend way too much time and money engaging in my 'favourite sport'. (*grins*) I also spend a lot of time at live music concerts. My current favourite artists are Shantu Selene, Noma Falto, and kelvinblue Oh.
I love my work as an SL Mentor, and I am very proud to be a member of the team. They are all remarkable people who give their time, unpaid, to help new SL residents. Of course we have a lot of fun too, and great parties :) My volunteering gives me the chance to meet people and make friends from many different cultures and backgrounds, from all over the world. It's just one of the many ways that SL has broadened my horizons.
I really believe that Second Life is the world of the future. The possibilities are limitless, as my fellow residents prove every day :) I can't wait to see what's coming in the years ahead!
