Notification Types

Alert Modal

Presents an alert modal in the center of the window with an acknowledge button or a choice the user needs to make.

Notify Toast

Presents a notification toast in the notification well in the upper-right corner of the window with an acknowledge button.

Notify Tip Toast

Presents a notification toast in the notification well in the upper-right corner of the window. Unlike the previous notification methods, these will gently fade away and need no user intervention to close. Notify Tips are also logged to chat as a system message.

Offer

Similar to Notify Toasts, offers will present themselves in the notification well in the upper-right corner and present the user with options when another user has offered them something be it an item, friendship request, or a group join invitation. There are logged to instant message logs.

Group Notice

Notifications sent from groups the user has joined which are displayed in the notification well in the upper-right corner of the window with an acknowledge button. These notices may also carry an asset such as an object, texture, notecard, or landmark.

Special Types

Online Status Notification

A special type of notification tip which carries a payload that when clicked to carry out an action on the payload (In this case, the friend who logged in.) This type of notification is not as wide as the normal notification tip.

Outbox

I don't have any information about these and they're relatively new, so if someone knows anything about them, please help by describing them.

Global

These are alert strings from server. The name needs to match entire the server string and needs to be changed whenever the server string changes. They are displayed the same was as an alert modal.
