Getting Started with Voice

Quando você entrar no cliente pela primeira vez, seu microfone estará ligado transmitindo som o tempo todo.

Favor mudar suas configurações. Os passos mais importantes são:

  • Use Push to Talk: Deixe esta opção marcada

Now a little fine tuning may be in order. Watch the waves over your head - if you talk at a normal volume they should stay green most of the time. In most cases, it's okay if they turn red once in a while.

It's a good idea to ask people around you if your volume is alright with them. If you're too loud or quiet you'll need to adjust your mic volume. Here are directions for Windows XP:

  1. Go to the Windows Control Panel
  2. Double-click "Sounds And Audio Devices"
  3. Click the "Voice" tab
  4. Click "Volume"; adjust the slider until you rarely see red

These settings may not be your favorite in the long run but they're more respectful of people around you than the default.
