Inventory Loss Hamilton posted an Inventory Loss Initiative update to the blog.secondlife.com, regarding LL’s internal efforts to address inventory loss. LL is also testing some new metric in a few regions. If you have recently been experiencing significant inventory loss and would like to volunteer IM me your name, the traffic level, Region's name, if you are the owner of the entire Region, if its an estate or mainland as well the type of inventory you and the folks on that Region have been experiencing. Sampling a variety of regions with low to high traffic.

General discussion about: • CSI using the regAPI from their website to their own servers; shouldn’t directly impact our logins • LL is looking at pricing for next year—in progress • Search engine LL is working on for the SL viewer will incorporate classifieds • Ads, RL ads in SL, ‘big’ ad saturation, etc. • Discussion around development of a new grid specifically for CSI event • Various discussion about browsers: using SL as a platform where any number of different types of projects might be going on simultaneously. Other viewers will come out of open source as well. • As long as there is a Linden viewer, search will be improved, classifieds protected and enhanced. ESC’s viewer is just another viewer. • If someone wants to build their own viewer, they need a commercial license (as soon as it leaves open source).
