I paid good L$ for this and all I wound up with was a box! Where's the stuff I bought?
Your items are inside that box. To get to them:
- Rez the box on the ground. Make sure you're on land that allows objects to be rezzed; a sandbox is always a good place if you don't own land.
- Right-click on the box and select Open.
- A window opens displaying the contents of the box. This is your stuff!
- Drag each item displayed in the contents into your Inventory window.
- Rez or wear them as appropriate.
In the event that you don't see an Open option in the pie menu, or the Open window is empty, you can also open a box this way:
- Rez the box on the ground. Make sure you're on land that allows objects to be rezzed; a sandbox is always a good place if you don't own land.
- Right-click on the box and select Edit.
- Click the More button to expand the Edit window.
- Click the Contents tab to see the objects inside the box. This is your stuff!
- Drag each item displayed in the contents into your Inventory window.
- Rez or wear them as appropriate.

Possible Translation
There is a unofficial translation of this document into Spanish (adapted to Viewer 2): https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Abriendo_Cajas How to include that page in translations of this KB document? TraductoresAnonimos Alter on 2010-9-19 @ 8:57 AM PT
- I took the liberty to connect them. When the Spanish Localization Specialist (do we have one?) reviews the translation, Template:Help/es can be replaced by Template:KBmaster and the page can be put under flagged revs. -- (talk|contribs) 18:44, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for took that liberty!! :) And as far as we know (the Spanish Residents in CT group) there is no Spanish Localization Specialist at this moment (was Luna Linden). TraductoresAnonimos Alter on 2010-9-22 @ 2:11 AM PT
