Project:i18n, the Internationalisation Project intends to make full use of the features of the MediaWiki platform to:

  • Co-ordinate and encourage communication between and within the many international communities present in Second Life both on the Wiki and in the Grid itself.
  • Assisting the development of under-developed international communities within Second Life (e.g. those with comparably fewer Residents).
  • If possible, arrange for the education of interested Residents to learn another language instead of relying upon translators.

The Internationalisation project aims to support Americans as well as everyone else!

  • Propose articles useful to the Internationalisation project (see the talk page guidelines)

To-Do List

  • Translate articles listed in Category:Text from In-world Notecards
  • Discuss what's necessary for the localisation project (which aims to assist in the translation of the Second Life Viewer)
